Garrix -™
Continuing the established tradition last year, when Mi Mixture 2 launched the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro laptop, this year with Mi MiS 2S presented Mi Gaming laptop, which as i says the name - it's dedicated to gaming. As a technical specification, it is nothing special compared to the gaming models already available on the market at Acer, Asus, Lenovo or others: they are equipped with an Intel Kaby Lake i7 7700HQ processor, GeForce GTX 1060, 16 GB RAM, A 256 GB SSD and a 1TB HDD, along with a 15.6-inch full HD display. There will also be a lighter version with the same i7 processor, GeForce GTX1050Ti, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD. Both models feature 4 USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port, and two USB ports. The audio will be powered by Dolby Atmos technology. The design is simplistic and can easily be confused with a business laptop rather than a gaming one and is similar to the one from Mi Notebook Pro. It is distinguished by an RGB illuminated keypad with 4 customizable zones and 5 programmable keys. Besides the unusual design for a gaming laptop, it is remarkable in its thickness of only 20.9 mm and weighing 2.7 kg. To ensure better cooling of components during a stressful gaming session, they have a special "turbo cooling" button that once activated will provide more powerful ventilation. Both versions will be available exclusively in China starting April 13 at prices of 770 euros and 1150 euros respectively. It is still unclear whether and when they will be available for other markets.
