G.O.G Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Qualcomm prepares to raise the revolutions in 2018. Once overcome the rumors of purchase by Broadcom, in San Diego (California) are ready to get out of the oven two new processors Snapdragon mid-range for 2018: 710 and 730. Both SoC are mid-range, although thanks to their characteristics they can take the mobiles that equip them one step further than before, to features that are now practically exclusive to the premium range. How do we know this? Well, because all the technical specifications of the Snapdragon 710 and 730 have been filtered, and with great detail. We are talking about two chips compatible with Quad HD + resolution for 18: 9 screens, with HDR 10 or with Bluetooth 5.0, new features that are now almost unheard of in mobile phones below 400 euros. The main difference is the family of the eight cores that equip both SoC. In the 710 it will be Kryo 300 while in the 730 it will be Kryo 400, an impact that should be noticed even if it is minimally in performance and efficiency. On the other hand, the structure of both also differs. The 710 is manufactured in 10 nanometers, while the 730 goes down to 8 nm, which can also translate into an energy improvement to thank. In addition, among the features of the Snapdragon 730 there will be a module especially dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, two of the novelties that manufacturers are beginning to incorporate. For example, it will serve to make better nocturnal photographs in this type of devices. Below we attach an image of the comparative table of both chips that has been filtered:
