G.O.G Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 The United States informed Venezuela that they are no longer interested in being sent to Daniel Baroody, a Syrian, born in Aleppo with a Colombian passport, captured on 1/12/16 in Maiquetía (Var), according to sentence No. 100 issued two days ago . The United States requested Baroody in extradition in October 2017 because it detected that the individual is part of an organization dedicated to introducing drugs to that nation from Mexico, Guatemala and India. But on March 14, the US embassy sent a note to the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry informing him of "the formal withdrawal of the request for extradition on procedural grounds." For that reason, the Criminal Chamber placed Baroody at the order of the Administrative Identification Service (Saime) to evaluate his deportation
