US President Donald Trump has assured on Monday that he will make a decision on his response to the alleged chemical attack in the Syrian town of Duma in the next 24 or 48 hours.

At the beginning of the meeting with his cabinet, the president has returned to condemn the attack on Saturday and that would have left several dozen dead, saying it was "atrocious" and "horrible . "

"No option is ruled out," Trump warned when asked about the possibility of military action in Syria.

In this sense, he has indicated that his Administration is discussing the possible reaction to what happened and will make a decision in the next 24 or 48 hours. "It is a matter of humanity and can not be allowed to happen," he has defended.

This way, he has assured that the United States will find out if the attack was the work "of the Russians , of Syria, of Iran, or of the three together" .

"They say they did not, but for me there are not too many doubts about it, the generals will find out in the next few hours," he added.

Trump: "No option is ruled out"

On the other hand, Trump has said that the historic meeting with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could be held "in May or early June" , although he has not offered details about the place.

"We will be meeting with them sometime in May or early June, and I think there will be great respect on both sides and I hope there will be an agreement on denuclearization (of the Korean peninsula)," Trump said at the start of a meeting. with the members of his cabinet in the White House.

"It will be a very interesting meeting, very interesting for the world," he added.

Trump has also expressed his desire that after the meeting the relationship between Washington and Pyongyang is "very different than it has been for many, many years."

For now, the question remains of the location of the meeting between the two leaders, although in recent days has begun to discuss the possibility that the meeting takes place in Ulan Bator , the capital of Mongolia.
