#king 0F DARK
For those who do not know AV-Comparatives is an independent Austrian organization that tests and evaluates anti-virus programs and regularly releases charts and reports that are available free of charge to the public and the media.Virtual antivirus vendors must meet different requirements for trust and reliability to participate in tests. Reports issued by the organization are important to the average computer user. Especially with the many security solutions available, it is hard to know which software is considered the best and worth your money. The tests performed by AV-Comparatives and others are an important criterion in the selection process. The organization recently released some 2017 test results for best fraud protection, parental controls, software effectiveness and performance comparison of free and paid software. The company also tested anti-virus software in two main categories of anti-phishing and parental control. The report also noted the collapse of 15 free anti-virus programs against paid programs. Winners of the anti-fraud test: Avast Free Antivirus, Bitdefender Internet Security, Fortinet Forticlient and Kaspersky Internet Security have all won and got the seal of approval for fraud detection. Phishing is when a malicious Web site impersonates and appears as a legitimate site and is able to access all your logins for banking, e-mail, and other sensitive information. The initial test used 510 addresses or sites for direct phishing, and the programs were able to detect at least 90 percent of those threats. The test also had a part (false alarm) to see how anti-phishing programs handled 500 legitimate addresses. All four programs were able to detect locations and were identified during the false alarm test without error. Bitdefender won the first place to detect actual phishing sites at 96%. Fortinet was then 95 percent followed by Kaspersky Avast at 93 and 92 percent respectively. Parental control: Keeping your children away from sites they should not enter is always a great challenge. Some critics believe it is impossible to monitor or block those sites, especially if children want to visit those taboo sites, rather than accidentally finding them or by clicking the wrong link. Or through publicity and publicity. For Windows computers, two programs received the approval of AV-Comparatives 2017: SafeDNS and Kaspersky Safe Kids Premium, and the third winner was ESET Parental Control for the android system. For the test, the company placed 2000 prohibited titles in the program. Most of them (1,600) were pornographic sites, but the test also used 200 gambling sites and 200 sites either sold or advertised weapons. There was also another false positive test with 100 child friend sites like Lego.com. Again, each of the winners earned perfect marks on the wrong pros. Kaspersky's best rate was 98.1 per cent of pornographic sites, 98 per cent of gambling sites and 97 per cent of weapons sites. SafeDNS scored a higher rate than Kaspersky on pornographic sites with a near-ideal rate of 99.8 percent, but the program's stumble was with gambling sites at 94 percent and 79 percent in the weapons test. Free or paid software? Finally, we come to the part that tries to answer the eternal question: Should I use free or paid software? But there really is not a good enough answer to this question. It depends primarily on your needs. If you only need basic protection, free antivirus software is enough. If you want additional security features like encrypted storage and banking operations, or stop ads. The report clearly indicates that paid software is the perfect solution for comprehensive protection.
