Your updated Ford Bronco renderings are here, and now we get to play around with what a four-door Bronco might look like in 2020 when it returns.

Traditionally a two-door truck, the Bronco is likely to come out in both two- and four-door versions when Ford finally reveals the real thing. These gorgeous renderings come to us courtesy of the Bronco6G forums, and if they’re anything like what the new Bronco will actually look like, we’ll be thoroughly impressed.

While we like the idea of a two-door off-roader, we fully expect the majority of consumers to select a four-door version if and when the choice arises. The Bronco will end up competing directly with the Jeep Wrangler, and the po[CENSORED]rity of the Wrangler Unlimited (four-door) is too much of an opportunity for Ford to pass up. Even more Wrangler-like is the previously reported removable “air roof” the 2020 Bronco will supposedly receive. The modular roof panels are imagined and rendered in the photos here -- not quite as airy as a Wrangler.

Back when the original Bronco came out, trucks almost always had just two doors, but times changed and crew cabs rule the roads these days. If the speculation is correct and the Bronco is being built off the new Ranger platform that comes with four doors, then it’s no stretch to see the Bronco conform to the ways of the new pickup truck.
