Hello , Go to your profil , then click in edit profil , then active Enable status updates?

You can activate this feature by following the below steps:

1st : Click on your name above the screen 
2nd : Click on "Account Settings" 
3rd : Click on "Edit Profile"
4th : Click on "Enable Status Updates"
