The Brazilian striker Kaka tops the list of best-paid players of American football of the MLS for the third consecutive year, said Tuesday the entity of the discipline.

A full breakdown of the basic wage and guaranteed income issued by the Union of MLS players showed Kaka (Orlando) at the top of the list with a salary of $7.168 million.

The Brazilian, 35 years ago, it was the Player of the Year in 2007 by FIFA, came to the MLS in 2014 after a second period with AC Milan of Italy.

Six of the 10 best wage earners of the MLS are foreign players, while the Italian International Toronto, Sebastian Giovinco, ranks second in the list with a salary of 7.116 million.

The team of Giovinco in Toronto, the captain of the u.s., Michael Bradley, is third with a salary of 6.5 million.

The duo of the city of New York Italian Andrea Pirlo and the Spaniard David Villa were fourth and fifth in the list with 5.9 and 5.6 million, respectively.

Recently, the ex-star of the Bayern Munich and Germany, Bastian Schweinsteiger, is seventh with 5.4 million dollars.

Americans Jozy Altidore (4.875 million) and Clint Dempsey (3.892 million) were eighth and ninth in the list in that order.

The Argentine midfielder Diego Valeri, of the Portland Timbers, complete the 'Top 10' of wages in the form of 2.6 million.

At the other end of the scale, several players in MLS earn the minimum wage of $53,004 a year.
