bloodychuck. Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 (edited) Real Madrid vs Barcelona La Liga Today, 8:45 PM Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid Real Madrid vs Barcelona It's the last El Clasico of the season and it could not be a more decisive one as both teams are still competing for the La Liga title. Sergio Ramos' late goal gave Madrid a valuable draw at the Camp Nou when these two teams met last December, and that result could be good enough for Los Blancos as they currently hold a three-point lead with one game at hand against Celta. It's clear that Barcelona will have to go after the win in this one, but they'll have to do it without Neymar, who is serving a suspension. Barça will still try to put the Brazilian winger on the field as they have allegedly appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport about the player's suspension. However, Court officials said that they did not received Barcelona's appeal, so there's a fair amount of controversy around Neymar's status for this game. Reports from Barcelona indicate that he will travel with the team although it would be a surprise to see the Brazilian winger playing as Barcelona could be risking an automatic loss if he isn't eligible to be on the field. Gareth Bale is available again after missing Madrid's last two matches. The Welshman has not been performing very well this season but he will most likely start on the right wing if he is indeed ready enough to play. Real's deep bench could be very useful for Zidane as players like Isco, Asensio, James, Morata or Kovacic will be on the bench waiting for the French coach to call their name trying to change the course of the game. Projected Line-Ups: Real Madrid: Navas; Carvajal, Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Modrić; Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema. Out: Pepe (ribs), Varane (hamstring) Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Pique, Mascherano, Umtiti, Roberto, Rakitic, Busquets; Iniesta, Alba; Messi, Suarez. Out: Rafinha (knee), Vidal (ankle), Neymar (suspension) Doubtful: Mathieu (ankle) Edited April 23, 2017 by bashbuta Edited! 6 Quote
