Called the Renegade Desert Hawk, it’s the UK market release of the two cars of the same name revealed at last year’s Paris Motor Show and LA Motor Show. In true limited edition form, the Desert Hawk is based on the range topping Trailhawk model and introduces a number of unique design tweaks. Four paint colours including a “Mojave sand” colour are available, while 17-inch black alloy wheels and exclusive bodywork decals are also included. Inside, the seats are finished in black leather and fabric upholstery, and they feature Moab desert map logos. A leather wrapped steering wheel is also included. In terms of tech, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, sat nav and live support services, plus a 7-inch TFT cluster display are both included. Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre MutliJet diesel engine producing 168bhp, and drive is transferred to an all-wheel-drive system via a nine-speed automatic transmission. The terrain selection system gains an exclusive new mode for rocky environments.
