this problem happned from me a long time ago

you have 2 solution 

1. to Unstall you cs 1.6 and donwload now cs ( defferent Version )

2. Try To Fix Your Net , or Quit your cs and join to highlife again

I have the solution for your probleme its hapend to me alot of times and that becouse of the network but u dont need to restart your net or anything just whene u conect server dont press directly on enter just wait 2-3 sec then chose your team with your mose !
