G.O.G Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Do not interfere in the internal affairs of my country, "said Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, referring to the intrusions of the United States and the United Nations. Interviewed by the Russian RT channel, Duterte lashed out at US President Barack Obama's statements about alleged human rights violations in the country. "The United States is not a signatory to the International Criminal Court, and will this boy (Obama) teach me?" Asked Duterte, who recalled that "Americans occupied the Philippines over 50 years." He also rejected UN reports on alleged human rights violations. "I will not allow the UN Special Rapporteur to question me as if I were a criminal," he said. For his part, he reiterated that he hopes to forge new foreign relations with Russia and China, in its distance from the American orbit. "I am ready to cooperate with my new friends, Russia and China, to create a more peaceful world," he said. 1 Quote
