Project NEON, the new design language for Windows 10

The design language used to create the different interfaces of Windows operating systems has been one of the highlights and characteristics of each of the operating systems in recent years, something that has culminated with Windows 10. The design languages began To become more important with Windows 8 and the Metro interface and more recently with Microsoft Design Language 2 in Windows 10.

Now several sources have announced that Microsoft are working on a new design language for Windows 10 called Project NEON and that could be released with the update Redstone 3 for Windows 10, which will be launched in a year. Project NEON is defined as a kind of Metro 2.0 and would be a new step in the convergence of Windows 10, something that will define the company's next strategy in mobile phones, tablets, and also in its promising HoloLens, its augmented reality offer .

Microsoft would take one year working in the design language Project NEON to release it next year, finishing the process between Windows 8 and Windows 10. The interface of Project NEON would be clean and simple, but with animations and transitions that will seek to make it more colorful and fluid , But without assuming a real revolution. It would also incorporate a good 3D philosophy, something that will begin with the update Creators Update next spring.
