G.O.G Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Instagram has decided that whatever others do and that works well, it will incorporate it. The latest has been Instagram Live, a new feature to broadcast live videos from the application, reviewed Cromo. A few weeks ago, the company announced the new streaming video feature, Instagram Stories, a feature very characteristic of Snapchat, and that the company belonging to Facebook has worked very well so far. After the success of this functionality, the application has decided to bet on live videos, characteristic of Periscope and increasingly successful on Facebook with Facebook Live. The new feature, launched this Monday, is located at the top of the application, along with Instagram Stories and allows you to select the video function to start the broadcast in 3 seconds. As in Periscope, people watching the broadcast can give likes and make comments in real time. The maximum duration of each broadcast is one hour. In addition, in the purest Snapchat style, Instagram lets you send photos and videos through direct messages that disappear once the recipient has seen them. In particular, Instagram is managing to combine all the functions of other social networks in one place, which could allow it to face Snapchat and its impending IPO. 1 Quote
