The Belgian authorities have today reached consensus on free trade agreement between the European Union (EU) and Canada called CETA, blocking the Walloon region and may not be signed on Thursday as planned. "There is a Belgian agreement on the CETA. All parliaments (regional) can now approve it before tomorrow night. It's an important step for the EU and Canada," he said in his Twitter account the Belgian Prime Minister, Charles Michel , following a two-day meeting. The consensus to unlock an agreement so far vetoed Wallonia, comes less than an hour after sources of the European Union have announced that the summit between the EU and Canada today in which it was expected that the CETA was signed is suspended. "I was glad the good news (received) Prime Minister Charles Michel. Only when you have completed all the procedures for the EU to sign the CETA will contact the Prime Minister (Canada), Justin Trudeau," he said in his Twitter account European Council President Donald Tusk. The European Council has not yet set a new date for the EU-Canada summit. "You can speculate on a new date for the summit. The next step is for the EU to agree to sign" European sources added.
