The protest has been led by Lilian Tintori, wife of imprisoned opposition Leopoldo López and other representatives of Chavez opponents. Opposing Women are manifested in Caracas to demand the dismissal of Nicolas Maduro. Venezuelan opposition women demonstrated Saturday in Caracas (Venezuela) to reject the suspension of the presidential recall referendum and to require the National Assembly (AN) of opposition majority, to initiate a process to impeach the head of state, Nicolas Maduro. The protest, called "Resteadas Women" was led by Lilian Tintori, wife of imprisoned opposition Leopoldo López, and other representatives of Chavez opponents as exmember Maria Corina Machado and the mayor of the municipality of San Cristobal (west), Patricia de Ceballos. Machado gave a specific message for three institutions: the Venezuelan Parliament, the Armed Forces and the Organization of American States (OAS). "First to that power legitimate (...) Tomorrow in extraordinary session the National Assembly must declare the dictatorship in Venezuela, you must start tomorrow impeachment of Nicolas Maduro," he urged the exmember. Under the slogan "Let us not take away the right to revoke" the opposition said they will remain in "civil disobedience", or also called "obedience to the Constitution" through acts of street made "every day" so they said that this Sunday will go to Parliament. Article 350 of the Constitution in which support the opposition states that the people of Venezuela "disown any regime, legislation or authority that violates the values, principles and democratic guarantees or encroaches upon human rights."
