Chanel channels Daft Punk, Stormtroopers at Paris fashion week

DAFT Punk, eat your heart out. Karl Lagerfeld seems to have taken inspiration from the French electronic duo in his latest collection for Chanel.
The Grand Palais in Paris was transformed into a Chanel data centre, with models strutting in front of wall-to-wall silver computer hardware and electrical wires.
They were dressed in helmets that were part Stormtrooper, part Daft Punk, teamed with knee-length skirts and blazers from the label’s spring/summer ‘17 collection, paired with Star Wars-esque knee-high boots.
