Caracas.- The International Tennis Federation suspended for security reasons headquarters in Venezuela for the upcoming Davis Cup tie between that country and Peru, he announced the Venezuelan federation.

The series by the end of Group 2 of the American Zone was scheduled to be played between 16 and 18 September in Barcelona, Venezuela, noted AP.

Venezuela's tennis federation said it will now have five days to choose a neutral venue to face Peru.

"FVT considered an absolute interference and a decision without arguments, violating any provision. Nor pronouncement we were warned, '' said Friday night the Venezuelan federation in his Twitter account.

There was no immediate comment from the international federation.

Venezuela is going through a complicated social and political situation, which caused a leader of the Argentine Football Association cast doubt on the tour of the Argentina team for Tuesday's meeting in Merida for the World Cup qualifiers in South America.
