RIO DE JANEIRO A shot hit today in the press room at the equestrian center of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, without causing any injuries, reported a spokesman for the organization.

 

The shooting occurred outside the press room, drilled canvas installation and the bullet was collected on the floor inside the room, according to a spokeswoman for the riding center EFE.

Security officials Rio 2016 are investigating the event and the organizing committee plans to release a press release with more details of the incident, according to the same source.
