Napoli full back Elseid Hysaj has revealed that he has received no official transfer offers from Atletico Madrid, despite reports of interest.

The 22-year-old is currently with the Albanian national team, according to Football Italia, but has been speaking to press sources while on international duty and has confirmed that the talk about his [CENSORED]ure destination is purely rumour at the moment.

He said: “There's nothing that is official. I heard these rumours too, but there's no offer.

“For the moment I'm only focused on Napoli and on the national team. The most important thing for me is to keep giving 100 per cent so I can improve my performance.”

Hysaj has been a regular in the Napoli team this season and has earned himself a solid reputation across Europe, and while it's reported that Atletico are interested, they also have another full back on their books who has made it clear he'd like to return to the club from a long-term loan spell.

Javi Manquillo is currently with Marseille after spending time at Liverpool last season, but has told Marca that while he's happy in France as it stands he's hopeful of earning a recall to the Atletico first team.

He said: “Things are going pretty well for me at the moment. Since Michel’s arrival, I’ve done very well and I appreciate all the faith he’s put in me.

“It’s something I have to thank the coach for. I’ve learned a lot this year and I’m giving him the little step he needs, which I previously lacked. He also speaks Spanish, which helps me a lot.

“I was looking for minutes and, luckily, this is where I’m getting them because Michel is giving them to me, and I’m very happy about that.

“Atletico was where I grew up, so they’re my club, but nobody knows what will happen next year. Of course I miss Spain: my family, Madrid, friends...it also hurts because I grew up there with Saul and Oliver Torres.

“You miss many things, but it was a good decision to go to Marseille. I don’t regret it. I try to watch [Atleti] as much as I can and yes, I suffer with them. I want the best for them and if they win a trophy then all the better.

“Atletico are the club who have given me everything and now when I remember it, I’m glad I made the move."
