Twente will play in the Eerste Divisie, the second in February in the Dutch league. Excluding the Eredivisie club for financial irregularities, Dutch media reported. Twente has the right to file complaints, and director Onno Jacobs has announced that the club will not surrender. "We will not surrender, we will fight to the end", he said. However, fans were shocked by the news. Twentte were champions in the 2009-2010 season.
