Warner Bros. studio build a theme park in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) through an agreement with the company Miral Asset Management by which invested 1,000 million dollars in the project, reported the specializing Variety.

It is expected that the recreational space to open in 2018 and among its facilities, attractions based on the study characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Scooby-Doo and Bugs Bunny are contemplated.

The project also includes the construction of Gotham City and Metropolis, cities in developing their adventures Batman and Superman, respectively.

The new theme park Warner would be located on the island of Yas, a site which already is a recreational site of Ferrari, a water space and where the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi is also celebrated.

"Warner Bros. has been dedicated to entertaining audiences for more than ninety years with sagas and most beloved characters in the world", said President of Warner Bros. Entertainment, Kevin Tsujihara, in a statement quoted by Variety.

"Working with our partners Miral, take our experience Yas Island, one of the leading destinations in entertainment in the world, to create a fully interactive, innovative and unique experience that will allow fans of all ages to experience aspects Warner Bros. more exciting", he added.

Meanwhile, the president of Miral Asset Management, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, said the theme park will be a "milestone" in the objective of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi put "on the global map" of international tourism.

Project leaders said the theme park will help the island of Yas raise its number of visitors to 25 million annually by 2015 to 30 million in 2018.
