Facebook has so far provided the opportunity to perform live transmissions from the smartphone only celebrities via the Mentions, but now starting to launch this feature and to the end users. Along with new capabilities designed as a response to the Periscope site from Twitter, Facebook introduces possibilities to achieve collage photo / video animated. Both features will be rolled out gradually, initially debuting in the United States and currently only the iOS platform.

Performing live transmissions is very simple. You can start to communicate through a video stream in real time by simply publishing a new status by choosing the new "Live Video". You can broadcast using any smartphone cameras, and friends can comment in real time. At the end of transmission, the video will remain saved on your personal Timeline to be viewed by those who were not online at the time. To ensure the po[CENSORED]rity of this feature, there is the possibility to subscribe to transmissions friends prefer to receive notification each time you start a livestream.
The second new feature of the Facebook app for iOS is publishing photo collages. This can be done simply using the integration with the iPhone photo album. Facebook automatically detects several photographs taken in a particular event and suggests publishing them in one post. They can be rearranged and resized and include the possibility along with a title and location, and also offers the ability to tag people in photos. The collages will be launched more quickly than live transmissions and will begin to appear in the iOS app from today.

Those who use Facebook on Android will have to wait a while to get access to these functions. While collages have already been confirmed for the beginning of 2016, the company currently says nothingabout the availability of live broadcasts on the Google platform.
