Typical too broadly, with a flat story without surprises, one trilladísima atmosphere and a repertoire less varied than we would have liked enemies, if something is good is its combat system, which departs from the standard pattern showing a style of more direct action. It is no longer just a matter of clicking on the screen as if possessed; Victor Vran completely control the movements of our monster hunter, you can roll on the floor to avoid certain attacks and jump to hit enemies from the air or explore the scenarios from a different point of view. Nothing revolutionary, it is true, because in any case we speak of a platformer component or anything like that, but very interesting and fun for the more vertical design that have many of the dungeons in which we enter.

 

There is little interest in continuing exempted from tariffs the mysteries that are hidden in Zaragovia, and less with development as monotonous as that of Victor Vran, which does little to try to surprise the player with new challenges and other action. Kill, kill, and killing is the only thing we are asked.That is not bad !, because it is basically what we seek in this kind of games. But the null variety of enemies that presents the work of Haemimont Games does not help in the least to maintain high interest in it. In spite of the intense action that, yes, we will enjoy many of the battles in which we will run. Especially when there are bosses involved, as it will be at the moment when jumping movements and dodge their full sense charge.

The problem, again, is that many bosses are not as we would like, or the combat system itself is taken out all the potential. It is too simple, with few real options for action to limit our attacks on two special moves, which are those of the type of weapon that we control -floretes, hammers, guns, mortars ... -, and many other evil powers, which alone we can resort once the bar of our hunter instinct loaded. It is true that we can alternate the use of two guns, so quickly change the way we fight, and we have complete freedom to choose evil powers, as these are objects with their own particularities. But overall, as mentioned, the action seems too simple. They vary little fighting since the adventure begins until it ends; and that is deadly for a title of this nature.

 

There are good basic ideas, it's fun and even very addictive thanks to the presence of a variety of optional challenges will help us to try to do impossible during the game, such as ending certain enemies in a limited time or opt for a gun specifically to perform certain feats. The point is that Victor Vran has run halfway. It is all too typical in the design of their missions and others, but also turn out to surprise fans with a combat system more direct and visceral than that seen in other games of this style, or its striking cards of fate, with which will customize the physical attributes of the hero without resorting to the traditional system of own gender classes, in this case, there is no as such.
