Bony told Sky Sports “”The discussions are still on, now I’m going to join up with my national team so my focus is on that now. The deal is not there yet but the negotiations are still going on. We are not there yet.” “We don’t know what will happen later so now I’m just focussed on the national team. Every player wants to play Champions League football or in the World Cup. When you get that opportunity you either go on or not. I’m just taking it step by step and I’ll wait to see the news.” Bony’s agent has also confirmed the same to Sky Sports. “Talks are ongoing and we are waiting but we hope soon things will happen,” he told Sky Sports. When asked if any other club is also interested in signing Bony, he said : “At the moment it’s City. There are rumours about some other things but at the moment it’s City. There are some small details about money but things will happen in a few days.” When asked if a deal looks possible Bony’s agent responded: “Yes.”
