Star arrives at Arsenal, agreement reached on transfer, announcement will be when it suits all

  The agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Krystian Bielik on a fee of around €1.5m to €2m according to reports in both the Polish and British media. Wages of just over £100,000 per year have also been settled upon.

 

The vast majority of the Polish media think the deal is done after Arsenal astonished the Bielik family highly but the player himself has confessed to some nerves. Speaking to Legionisci, Bielik yold “I confess that I’m a little bit afraid. Only a madman would have no concerns… However, you have to be confident, and I’m sure in myself and my abilities.

 

“If I go it’s not to be more in the media, but just to fulfill dreams and fight for a place in the line-up. I’m not saying that at once I’ll be in the Arsenal starting XI, but I would like to be an important and positive figure in the eyes of coach Wenger.”

 

Asked about whether he’d had a good year or not, the young Polish midfielder said “The year is not over yet, there’s few days ahead of us in the holidays, so it can be even better.”

He then laughed, whether it was an evil cackling laugh confirming his transfer is not known.

Question if he’d grown up dreaming of playing for Arsenal, Bielik was rather blunt “Playing for Arsenal was never my dream, but of course it is a great club, and I can only be proud of the fact that such a powerful team are interested in me. In the English league I’m mostly fan of Manchester City, but only because there plays my idol – Yaya Toure. My biggest dream, however, is to be in the colours of Real Madrid.”

Krystian! It was all going so well.

 

If the move is as agreed as reported then Arsenal can declare it as quickly as is adequate to them, not having to wait until the opening of the window to do so.
