The Game Awards 2014 este un nou concept de show anual dedicat jocurilor video, pus la punct de cunoscutul jurnalist Geoff Keighley. Pe lângă decernarea premiilor care dau şi numele noului eveniment, The Game Awards va include apariţii şi discursuri din partea producătorilor de jocuri, a vedetelor din eSports şi a creatorilor de conţinut online, concerte live cu muzicieni faimoşi şi, bineînţeles, anunţuri de jocuri noi în premieră mondială.

 

Mai jos găsiţi toate nominalizarile propuse de un juriu format din jurnalişti din toată lumea, de la publicaţii precum Game Informer, GameTrailers, Meristation, Polygon, Corriere Della Sera, Jeux-Video, Kotaku sau Famitsu. Reprezentanţii acestor publicaţii vor alege şi marii câştigători, existând însă şi categorii în care publicul va determina învingătorii (cum ar fi Most Anticipated Game).

 

 

The Game Awards 2014 este produs cu suport din partea unora dintre cele mai importante figuri ale industriei jocurilor video: Reggie Fils-Aime (preşedinte şi COO al Nintendo of America), Yves Guillemot (cofondator şi CEO al Ubisoft), Hideo Kojima (Executive Contents Director la Kojima Productions), Shawn Layden (CEO al Sony Computer Entertainment America), Peter Moore (COO al Electronic Arts), studioul Rockstar Games, Phil Spencer (conducătorul diviziei Xbox a celor de la Microsoft), Martin Tremblay (preşedinte al Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment) şi Valve.

 

Show-ul The Game Awards 2014 va avea loc pe 5 decembrie 2014, în Las Vegas si va putea fi urmarit in direct prin live stream prin intermediul unor servicii precum YouTube, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live sau Twitch.
