The Ford Maverick model was awarded as the Best Truck of the Year, while the Ford Bronco was awarded as the Best SUV SUV, and Honda Civic, as Best Car of the Year. The timeless Civic, which began in 1972 and is now in its 11th generation, clinched the North American Car of the Year title after beating another classic, the Volkswagen Golf, and the first product of the startup Lucid. , the luxury electric Air. Jack Nerad, vice president of NACTOY, the group that has presented North American vehicle of the year awards since 1994, said in a statement that "if automakers were limited to producing just one car, the Honda Civic would be that model." Nerad added that the Honda vehicle combines virtually "every positive attribute" imaginable. The new Ford Maverick claimed the coveted Truck of the Year title in North America's most competitive segment, beating the electric Rivian R1T and Hyundai Santa Cruz in the final vote. Karl Brauer, Chairman of the NACTOY Board of Directors, explained that "Ford has revived the compact pickup segment with one of the most attractive packages you can buy in 2022." Brauer said the Maverick's most impressive feature is its value, "an increasingly rare feature in modern vehicles." The latest award, Best SUV SUV of the Year, went to the Ford Bronco, which surpassed the Genesis GV70 and the electric Hyundai IONIQ 5. The judges noted that the Bronco is a "credible competitor" to the classic Jeep Wrangler, capable of comparing itself to the Land Rover Defender in trim and aesthetics. The NACTOY Awards have been awarded each year since 1994 by a group of 50 automotive journalists from the United States and Canada. NACTOY President Gary Witzenburg called 2021 "a very significant year in automotive history" for the emergence of revolutionary electric vehicles from numerous brands, as well as the creation of new segments in the sector. This year, 36 vehicles were entered in the NACTOY competition. After three rounds of voting, the judges chose the winners.

Web: https://www.elmundo.es/deportes/futbol/2022/01/12/61ddbaccfdddff678b8b4589.html "Hey! Deivid! Hey!". At Real Madrid, Deivid is called Deivid out of respect for the Anglo-Saxon origin of his name, not because of the joke with which a friend might call David, his Spanish colleague, Deivid. Not so with Alaba. In the Madrid dressing room, Deivid imposes. An Austrian childhood, a decade of German righteousness, and a surprisingly quick adjustment to a new team, a new city, a new culture, and a new language. Everyone is amazed at Deivid, and Deivid, undaunted, maintains the composure that has made him one of Madrid's sporting and spiritual leaders. Everything, in addition, with the '4' of Sergio Ramos himself on his back. Almost nothing. One of the scenes from yesterday's training in Riyadh is worth describing. After 25 minutes of the session, Davide Ancelotti, always under the watchful eye of his father, decided to end one exercise and move on to the next. That moment was taken advantage of by the majority of footballers to approach the band to drink water, except for some. Modric and Kroos were talking in the center of the field, with Carletto a few meters away. He turned his gaze to the right and saw Alaba patiently waiting for the next order. The defender had adjusted the laces of his boots and was waiting standing, hardly moving the necessary square meter, in the exact position in which he should start the exercise. Ancelotti gave him a little gesture with his arm and Deivid nodded decisively. His first Spanish Super Cup and the possibility of his first title as a Madrid player focus all the efforts of one of the best center-backs in the League. There is nothing else. "Real Madrid simply represents success," he acknowledged a few days ago in an interview with the German media SZ. That's what he was looking for when he left Bayern in Munich and packed his bags for Madrid in a negotiation that took place for months, always with the shadow of Ramos on the table. A very long shadow. The shadow of Ramos Just a year ago, the Andalusian center-back forced his left knee to play in the semifinals of the Super Cup against Athletic Club. He was aware of the pain during the warm-up before kickoff, but decided, and so did Zidane's coaching staff, to infiltrate to try to win the tournament. Madrid lost against the Basque team and Ramos only played four games again until the end of the season. Against Elche in the League, with Spain against Greece and Kosovo, all three in March, and the return of the Champions semi-finals against Chelsea. Four scarce duels in which he could not demonstrate to the upper echelons of the Bernabéu that his physique had recovered for the elite. Doubts grew and ghosts flew. If in the negotiation for the signing of Alaba there was always the shadow of Ramos, in the talks for the renewal of the captain the agreement with the Austrian, closed in the month of January, was always flying over, precisely on the dates in which the one of Beds. Advice and support to Vinicius and Jovic On June 17, Madrid organized an event to fire Ramos. On July 21, he did the same to announce Alaba with the '4' on his back. "I know what it means," the player confessed that day. A phrase that could be empty but that has become a reality over the months. He praises some as a father would, but he is also the first to advise and praise. He so he does it with the young. He jokes with Camavinga before and after matches in the same way that he orders him during the match, he is one of the first to go to celebrate the goals of those who need it most, such as Vinicius or Jovic at the time, and he is one of the main culprits of Militao's enormous regularity. "That couple is going very well for us," Ancelotti commented yesterday, who acknowledged that he had no doubts with the former Bayern player: "None, because I know the type of professional he is and the quality he has." In the same vein, Toni Kroos was shown, who summarized it all in "he's a good boy", something essential in a wardrobe that has put hierarchies aside. "He seems like he's been here for many years," he added. Munich is precisely the past for Kroos, Ancelotti and Alaba, a city that causes many nightmares in tonight's rival in Riyadh, Barcelona. The Catalans have faced Bayern de Alaba five times and have only won once, just when the Austrian was not in the line-up: 3-0 in the first leg of the 2015 Champions League semi-finals, when Pep Guardiola was leading the from the Allianz Arena. Alaba started the 7-0 aggregate of the 2013 semis and the historic 2-8 of the 2020 quarters. In addition, he was already the winner, in white, of the last Camp Nou classic: 1-2. Today, new appointment for Deivid.

Web: https://www.abc.es/opinion/abci-editorial-abc-gobierno-desquiciado-202201120147_noticia.html The internal polls must go very badly for the PSOE to be forced, in the unprecedented way in which it did yesterday, to scorch a minister like Luis Planas, head of Agriculture, to counteract the damage that Alberto Garzón and United We Can are doing to the sector meat in full pre-campaign of the elections in Castilla y León. The internal crisis in the Government is not one more to which the two parties of the coalition have us accustomed from day one. This is not another typical struggle of this government of battered checks and balances and mutual jealousy, and they no longer even try to hide their differences, as they did in the past when Pablo Iglesias was vice president. The only plausible explanation is that both parties have entered an electoral panic because with just two weeks to go before the campaign begins, it is not logical that the eternal latent battle of egos and disavowals has so explicitly exploded into the air. Planas yesterday offered almost a dozen statements to different media attacking Alberto Garzón. He was overwhelming, overreacted even. It had never happened before with any minister, in the same way that it had never happened until now that the leaders of Podemos, including Iglesias, stormed directly against Pedro Sánchez. There had been skirmishes between Yolanda Díaz and José Luis Escrivá or Nadia Calviño; between Ione Belarra and Margarita Robles; between Irene Montero and Carmen Calvo…, but the direct target was never the Prime Minister. The tension, dragged by lousy polls for both parties, has even reached the point that Iglesias himself has attacked Sánchez, accusing him of spreading "hoaxes" about Garzón. However, it would be naive to claim that the coalition is in danger. It is true that many ministers do not support each other and that coexistence within the Council of Ministers can clearly be improved. When Planas was asked yesterday whether Garzón should resign, he responded eloquently with a simple "no comment." Podemos is causing irreparable damage to the prestige of Spain and the reputation of many business sectors by pure ideological indoctrination. But it is Sánchez who consents because, above temporary campaigns, the only thing that interests the PSOE is to exhaust the legislature by forcing whatever. And for Podemos, exactly the same: it is more motivating to cling to ministries than any consumer habit or the well-being of citizens. That is why the coalition is in poor health. Today, the PSOE without Podemos, like Podemos without the PSOE, can only be synonymous with the convening of general elections, and that is not on their agendas. Garzón lied because neither Spain exports meat in poor condition, nor can the accusation of animal abuse in our meat industries be happily sustained before the press. If Garzón has minimal evidence, he should go to the Prosecutor's Office because it is evident that Planas, precisely the minister in charge of food, does not seem to have anything to say to him. The true teamwork of this cabinet consists of stepping on each other, putting the credibility of our country at risk. Enough has been said about Garzón and the inanity of the Ministry. Also from his toxic prejudices, for example, towards macro-farms, which logically have their pros and cons. But there is nothing more absurd than attacking a substantial part of the electorate a month after the polls open, and that reveals a progressive unhingedness of the PSOE and Podemos.

The Spanish Carlos Sainz signed a meritorious day since, due to the problems in one of its shock absorbers of the innovative Audi hybrid vehicle, he was relegated to the 29th starting position, from which he accused the dust of his predecessors. Even so, he imposed a strong rhythm from the first moment, even becoming the fastest in kilometer 121 of the 421 that the timed section (special) had this Sunday, but he left 3'20 ”in the next 100 and already could not get them back; ending at 7'43 ”from Loeb. The French driver regains second place overall, to the detriment of Saudi Yazeed Al Rajhi (Overdrive Toyota), after once again showing that he has pace; but Al-Attiyah is aware that what he has to do to achieve his fourth Dakar (winner in 2011, 2015 and 2019) is to mark him closely. He did this throughout the special and gave up 5'26 ”, which leaves him with a 44'59” advantage in the general classification with five stages to play, and the last one without great difficulties. The Argentine Lucio Álvarez and his co-driver, the Spanish Armand Monleon (Overdrive Toyota) recovered the fourth position of the general since the South African Ginniel de Villiers (Toyota Gazoo) had problems in his vehicle at kilometer 198 that made him lose more than an hour. Although in their fight for the third box of the podium, they lost three minutes and 34 seconds to Al Rajhi. For her part, Nani Roma (Bahrain Raid Xtreme), with no options in the general classification after suffering a capsize, finished 15'50 ”behind the winner and teammate Loeb. Five first classified of the seventh stage: 1 - Sebastién Loeb (FRA-Bahrain Raid Xtreme): 3h9'32 ” 2 - Nasser Al-Attiyah (CAT-Toyota): 5'26 ” 3 - Carlos Sainz (ESP-Audi): at 8'43 ” 4 - Stéphane Peterhansel (FRA-Audi): at 9'40 ” 5 - Yazeed Al Rajhi (SAU-Overdrive Toyota): 10'3 ”.

"Maxime, you bring something new to the game and I wish you the best for the rest of your career," Nadal commented after his 89th ATP final. The American was the big sensation of the week in Melbourne, where he not only dumped Reilly Opelka, but also knocked out the always unpredictable Grigor Dimitrov in the penultimate round.

So far the death of "a total of 10 people" has been confirmed, Marcos de Souza Pimenta, one of the organizations investigating the case together with the Firefighters and the regional commissioner of the Civil Police in the town of Passos, told reporters. The marine. The two people who remained missing since the accident were found this Sunday by rescuers, who continued to work in the area. On Saturday noon, a large rock fragment detached itself from a ravine and fell, perpendicular, on top of four boats that were strolling through the lake, a tourist region of Minas Gerais. In dramatic videos shared on social networks you can see the exact moment when the massif detaches itself and falls on the boats, to the panic of those who witness the scene from the other boats. One of those records shows the minute before the collapse, in which several people warned that "many stones are falling" and yelled at the occupants of the other boats to move away from the wall. The deceased were part of the same group of family and friends who were traveling in the boat that suffered the greatest impact during the rockfall, according to firefighters. During the searches "bodies and body fragments turned up," explained Pimenta. The victims were of Brazilian nationality and were between 14 and 68 years old, according to preliminary investigations. More than 30 people were injured, nine of whom required hospitalization. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro shared some videos of the tragedy on Saturday, which he described as a "regrettable disaster." The causes of the collapse will still be determined, but the intense rains that have fallen in recent days in southeastern Brazil favored the landslide, firefighters and specialists point out. A great tourist attraction The Capitolio region, 300 kilometers from the capital Belo Horizonte, attracts many Brazilian tourists with its rock walls and waterfalls that surround the green waters of Lake Furnas, formed by the hydroelectric dam with the same name. "The peculiar nature of that place, all the tourist attraction that the landscape provides, with the reservoir that forms the lake, the waterfalls and waterfalls, is created by the erosion of the relief, a natural and constant process," he explained to Frace Press (Afp) the geographer Eduardo Bulhoes, from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Added to this natural erosion are intense rains, which make landslides like the one that occurred on Saturday, called "mass movements", more likely. "December and January are the months with the most rain in Capitolio and consequently the months with the greatest potential for mass movements," said Bulhoes. To avoid further accidents, it would be advisable to "limit the recreational area and keep walks away from the walls and waterfalls" in the season of greatest risk, concluded the specialist.

The number of cars manufactured in Mexico was 2.98 million units in 2021, 2% less compared to the 3.04 million vehicles produced in 2020. Mexican vehicle exports rose just 0.94% in 2021, from 2.68 million units to 2.71 million units. Domestic sales showed more positive data, increasing by 6.80% year-on-year. In 2020, just over 950,000 light vehicles were sold and in 2021 they rose to more than one million. DECEMBER FALLS As has happened in recent months, December was again a bad month for the production, export and sale of vehicles, a phenomenon largely derived from the shortage of chips and supplies at a global level. If compared to the same month a year ago, vehicle production fell by 16.51%, from about 254,000 units to about 212,000 in the last month of 2021. While exports fell by 17.31% to take only 227,465 units abroad. In addition, sales to the public in the domestic market suffered a 7.80% drop from 105,603 units in December 2020 to 97,365 in December 2021. The importance of the automotive industry lies in the fact that it represents 3.8% of the national gross domestic product (GDP) and 20.5% of the manufacturing gross domestic product (GDP), more than any other sector, according to the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA). The automotive sector was completely paralyzed during the health emergency decreed by the Government of Mexico in April and May 2020, the year in which GDP contracted 8.2%.

Web: https://www.elmundo.es/deportes/futbol/primera-division/2022/01/07/61d80a5de4d4d8e0178bca69.html There was a moment in his career when Philippe Coutinho got carried away. Perhaps coinciding with his first season at Barcelona, when he arrived four years ago as the most expensive signing in the history of the entity (120 million euros plus another 40 in objectives, the Bartomeu government paid in full presidential delirium). When this Friday the transfer of him to Aston Villa, which will take care of a part of the footballer's large salary, has been completed, in the offices of the Camp Nou they breathed something more relieved. The loan, which ends on June 30 and includes a purchase option, should allow the current rectors of Barcelona to advance in the challenge of registering Ferran Torres, their great addition to this winter market. At least that is what sources from the club's high command consider, who will still have to continue expanding their salary margin to adapt it to LaLiga's financial fair play. It is not the first time that Barcelona sighs not to see Coutinho again, whom his coaches have tried to recover for the cause with no success. The last was Xavi Hernández, who did not take long to discover how much apathy can weigh. In the 2019-20 season, Coutinho was already on loan to Bayern, a club that later did not want to keep it. It was precisely with the Bavarians, although under contract with Barça, when Coutinho signed one of the most remembered performances of him, scoring two goals and scoring an assist in the pitiful 2-8 Champions League in Lisbon. Coutinho now marches with 106 games as a Barça player in his boots and after having scored just 25 goals. Pyrrhic figures for a playmaker who was never found a suitable location, and far removed from the status he one day acquired at Liverpool. The coach who now wants to get the best out of him, Steven Gerrard, a former teammate 'red', must still live in memory. At least Gerrard knows that Coutinho is excited to participate in the next World Cup in Qatar with Brazil. We will see if it is enough.

Web: https://www.abc.es/historia/abci-brutal-asesinato-nicolas-y-cinco-hijos-primer-gran-crimen-terror-rojo-202201071259_noticia.html The execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his five children was as traumatic in 1918 as it remains controversial a century later. Sometimes the news about the Romanov family is the most picturesque, like the one that appeared a week ago, when it was reported that employees of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia's most important museum, had found a 118-year-old bonbon in the sleeve of one of the dresses of his sister, Grand Duchess Ksenia Aleksándrovna, one of the few who managed to escape from the escabechina. As explained by the restorer Galina Fiodorova, the sweet was hidden in the sleeve and fell when the specialist proposed to check the state of the imperial garment. "It was pink in color and an irregular shape," she declared. She later recounted that she was carried away by instinct and licked him, at which point she realized that he was a hottie and that he had been bitten by the Grand Duchess. Other times, the news is much more important, such as the one we advanced in July 2020, when the discovery of the bodies of two of the sons of Tsar Nicholas II was confirmed. Thus ended one of the great mysteries of that murder that changed history and that neither the Russian Army nor Alfonso XIII himself could prevent. "It was a shameful crime," said Boris Yeltsin in 1998. The King of Spain tried by all means to repatriate them to Madrid when he learned that the Russian royal family was in danger. He spent weeks pressuring the new Bolshevik government to let her out safely. He even wrote to King George V of England, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany and Pope Benedict XV to help him bring them to Spain as refugees, but the new communist government had already declared Nicholas II "guilty, before the people, of innumerable bloody crimes ”and he did not succeed. The crime When the Russian Army arrived in the city of Yekaterinburg, on July 30, 1918, to try to save the Tsar and his family, held in the Ipatiev house by the Bolsheviks after the triumph of the revolution, two weeks ago they had been children. brutally executed. Since then, the world has wondered where their bodies went. At dawn from July 16 to 17, 1918, Nicolás II, his wife and his children - Olga, Tatiana, María, Anastasia and Alexei - were transferred to the basement of the aforementioned house under the pretext of taking a photograph of them. . When everyone had positioned themselves, confident that it would only be a portrait, the head of the squad arrived from Moscow to act as executioner, Yakov Yurovsky, entered with a revolver and several soldiers armed with rifles and bayonets and informed them that they had been sentenced to death ... and the carnage began. In the first place they were shot for several minutes together with several servants, their doctor and the dog. In view of the fact that some of them did not finish dying, they had to be finished off with the knife and with the bayonets. The revolution thus ensured the future of the regime, which would take shape shortly after in the USSR. A year later, in 1919, the royal investigator Nikolai Sokolov claimed that the murderers had "stripped the bodies and loaded them onto a truck to transport them to a salt mine. On the way, however, the vehicle broke down and the Bolsheviks decided to hastily dig a shallow ditch on the side of the road. Then, to make it difficult to recognize the bodies, they sprayed them with sulfuric acid before filling the pit. ' A century of research The last episode of this mystery with more than a century of history took place in the summer of 2020, when the Russian Government announced by surprise that the human remains found in the summer of 2007 near Yekaterinburg belonged to the two sons of the last Tsar of Unidentified Russia: Princess Maria and Crown Prince Alexei, 19 and 13 at the time of their death. An identification that has been produced "through molecular genetic tests carried out on the remains of two people discovered near the place where nine other dead lie", announced the expert of the Russian Investigation Committee, Marina Molodtsova, in an interview with the newspaper "Izvestia ". Molodtsova confirmed the biological relationship between Alexei and María with their parents and warned that the small number of bone fragments found suggested that one or more burial sites of other members of the Royal Family could be found near the place of the discovery. Likewise, the Investigation Committee denied, as had been defended in recent decades, that the corpses were "eliminated by applying sulfuric acid and fire," according to EP. Six decades of silence have passed since Sokolov's investigation. In 1979, at last, a group of dissident investigators found the possible remains of the tsar, his wife and three of his daughters. Fearing reprisals from the USSR authorities, they kept their discovery a secret for 10 years. They made it public in 1989, during Perestroika, the thaw period that led to the dismemberment of the communist bloc two years later. In 1994, another team led by Dr. Peter Gill confirmed that the bodies had suffered violence and had gunshot and bayonet wounds, as stated in the main account. The faces had been beaten to the ground and their identification was difficult, requiring DNA analysis. The Orthodox Church All these bone fragments were also buried in the Cathedral of Saint Paul and Saint Peter in Saint Petersburg in 1998, although the Russian Orthodox Church did not recognize them for lack of evidence, they argued. In September 2015, she asked a team of Russian investigators to exhume the remains to confirm the Romanovs' ties to other relatives buried elsewhere in the country through further DNA tests. At the same time, the disputed and self-proclaimed heir to the imperial throne, Maria Vladimirovna, asked prosecutors to reopen the investigation into the murders. In July 2018, the Russian Investigative Committee confirmed that the remains of the people found near Yekaterinburg belonged to the Romanov family and their entourage, and that the man investigators identified as Nicholas II was closely related to the father of the latter. emperor, Alexander III. With the discovery of 2020, Russia closed one of the most shameful pages in its history, and it did so with a procession of 10,000 people who venerate the Tsar as a saint. “By the will of the revolutionary people, the bloody Tsar has happily perished in Yekaterinburg. Long live the red terror! ”, Could be read in the Russian newspaper‘ Biednata ’in 1918.

GM's sales from October to December 2021 totaled 440,475 vehicles, while in the same period of 2020 the company delivered 771,323, almost 43% more. America's largest automaker blamed the sharp drop in sales in the final months of 2021 on chip shortages that limited vehicle stocks. Steve Carlisle, GM executive vice president and president of GM North America, said in a statement that the company "moved mountains" in 2021 to satisfy its customers "despite historically low inventory levels caused by supply chain problems of semiconductors "in the third and fourth quarters. Carlisle added that GM wants to take advantage of the improved chip supply in 2022 and the country's economic situation to increase the company's sales and market share. Total sales of new cars in the United States in 2021 are estimated to be about 15 million units, and in 2022 the number will improve to 16 million. The company said 2022 will be the "start" of GM's leadership as a North American leader in electric vehicle sales with the arrival of the GMC Hummer EV and Cadillac Lyriq models at dealerships, as well as the introduction of pickup trucks. "Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV. In 2021, the GM group's best-selling model was the Chevrolet Silverado LD pickup truck with the delivery of 380,715 units, 12.7% less than in 2020. In total, the Silverado family of vehicles, which includes the LD, MD and HD models, added 529,765 sales, 10.8% less than a year ago.

Spanish football takes place between the calm march through the heights of Real Madrid, the solitary and firm persecution of Sevilla (five points with one game less), the rebellion attempts of Atlético and Barcelona - «everyone can prepare, We have returned ”, agitates Joan Laporta-, the beautiful neighborhood irruption of Rayo de Iraola among the giants of the industry, or the struggle to be seen by a middle class increasingly loaded with equipment. The closing of the first round of the League leaves statistical certainties that justify the leadership of Real Madrid of Carlo Ancelotti, as decisive in the areas as dominant in the wide zone. The whites, beyond having already played 20 games, have scored more goals (41) than any other team in the tournament: nine more than Betis (11 of the 32 goals for the Verdiblancos have been the work of Juanmi), ten more than Atlético and Valencia (31), and 11 more than Sevilla and Barcelona. In addition, Real Madrid is the third team with the fewest goals conceded (17). The Thibaut Courtois goal has a remarkable 75% success rate in the stops. Although they are those of Lopetegui, with bastions in the rear such as Diego Carlos or Koundé, who are best closing their goal, excellently defended by a Bono (79% of saves) who is now marching to the Africa Cup together with his teammates Munir and En- Nesyri. Sevilla have barely received 13 goals in 19 games. Karim Benzema stands out in the scoring record, who at 34 and in the post-Messi season is the top scorer with 15 goals, in addition to having added eleven assists. Although the Frenchman has had essential support in which few trusted: Vinicius Jr., the great sensation of the championship so far, has corrected his deficiencies in the hot zones, contributing ten goals and five assists. The offensive production of Real Madrid, beyond the fact that Ancelotti has not managed to solve the equation of the third striker (Hazard begins to show himself), translates into his leadership in the shots. With 126 he surpasses that attractive Betis (102) whom Pellegrini has turned into a candidate for the Champions League. Also to Barcelona (91), which has penalized its minimum attack after the departures of Messi and Griezmann, the injuries of Ansu Fati and Braithwaite, the withdrawal of Agüero, the irregularity of Dembélé or the lack of confidence in Luuk de Jong, an unexpected hero In mallorca. The signing of Ferran Torres and the hope of incorporating Álvaro Morata as soon as possible should help solve the deficiencies. Barça, by the way, is the team in the League that has scored the most goals (seven), which points to the need for another type of record. Xavi and possession Although that adolescent Barcelona in which Gavi or Nico González have become essential in the center of the field so that their team continues to dominate possession (they are leaders with 64% waiting to make room for the injured Pedri again), the The eternal trinity of Real Madrid (Casemiro, Kroos and Modric) has led Ancelotti's group to be the one who makes the most passes (11,956) and with the best success rate (88.95%). Right behind is Barça (11,299 passes, with an accuracy of 88.23%), to whom Xavi Hernández tries to instill the benefits of the game of possession after the dismissal of Ronald Koeman. The inconsistency of Atlético de Simeone (22 goals conceded, the same as Barça) is surprising, a weakness that has overtaken the goalkeeper Oblak (50% success in saves). Nor has Atlético been able to take advantage of the abundance of forwards. Simeone, yes, is the First team coach who has used the least players in this first round (22), far from the 33 that Barça has used or the 29 of that Espanyol that continues to exploit its quarry. José Bordalás, meanwhile, has managed to impose his stamp on a Valencia that, despite his ups and downs, all competes. It's not little. It is the team that fouls the most (309), but also the one that receives the most (301). He also leads the yellow card statistics (65, seven more than that Getafe that Quique Sánchez Flores has resurrected) and also that of expulsions (four, such as Levante and Mallorca). The one who may no longer have a remedy is Levante, trapped at the bottom of the standings and who closed the first round conceding 41 goals (2.15 goals against per game) and without having won a single game.

Web: https://www.elmundo.es/deportes/futbol/primera-division/2022/01/02/61d22821fc6c8365498b45df.html Xavi points out that the goalkeeper was under confidence and stresses that "he is one of the best in the world." The Barça team could not keep their door unbeaten at home in the League since their match in Cádiz, on September 24 of last year. Marc-André ter Stegen had been under the microscope for a long time. That his performance had plummeted was much more than evidence. For this reason, the saving action that, in the end, earned Barça the triumph in Mallorca was tremendously celebrated by all his teammates, starting with those closest to him: the defenders. One by one, they approached to hug him behind that iron arm that prevented Jaume Costa's shot from turning into 1-1. Not surprisingly, the Barça team could not keep their door unbeaten at home in the League since their match against Cádiz, which was played on September 24 of last year. At the end of the meeting, the congratulations followed. Among them, that of a smiling Estanislau Pedrola. The young forward, one of the Barça debutants, together with Álvaro Sanz, Ter Stegen saved him from being portrayed, after the Mallorca defender won his back. "We have had to suffer, but Marc's stop has been spectacular. He is a great goalkeeper," Eric García praised him at Movistar as soon as the match ended. "We owe him more than 70% of the victory. He has been vital, he has shown how good a goalkeeper he is. We all know that at times like this we can trust him and he has given us the victory," he stressed. Xavi, in the press room, also had words of praise for the goalkeeper. "Marc saved us. I am very happy, especially for him and Luuk, but also for the whole team. I am moved by how they compete," said the Barça coach, who did not forget either a De Jong who was decisive with his goal. "Luuk is a brutal professional. He is an example for everyone, and Marc too. He is very self-demanding, lately he had less confidence than usual and he has saved us. He has saved two points," he insisted. "We have imposed our idea in the first half in full, in the second, at times and in the end, we have suffered. I am very satisfied for the team, with 17 casualties we came to compete and we took three vital points for us, to get closer to our first objective, the Champions League positions. We are one of Atlético, which marks the border. This victory shows that the team is united, that it is a family and that everyone is pulling the car and, furthermore, it greatly reinforces our idea and the work of the players, "said the Barça coach, who has excellent omens for the future. "We want this effort, this sacrifice. It is exciting to see how they compete and this is the way. This victory is worth an empire for us. If we play the 90 minutes like this, we will win by more goals difference. We had the goalkeeper who is Marc at the end, We have known how to suffer and we have three points that are gold, "said the Barcelona coach, for whom Luuk de Jong, whether he follows it or not, is an example.

The Second Vice President of the Government of Spain and Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz, has urged the European Commission to "reconsider" the proposal to classify investment in certain nuclear energy or natural gas projects as green energy. "Europe still has the opportunity to reconsider this decision in order not to move away from scientific evidence and social demand," underlines the second vice president of the Government of Spain and Minister of Labor and Social Economy in a tweet published yesterday January 1. In this sense, Díaz appeals to "the political responsibility of pursuing a transformative and ambitious Green Pact for European citizens." The indignation in the ranks of United We Can was also joined by the Minister of Consumption, Alberto Garzón, who considers that the draft proposal of the European Commission reveals an attitude “more dangerous than pure climate denialism: talking a lot about ecological transition and not act at all according to scientific evidence. ' The Commission's initiative is a first step towards the proposal that it promised to present before the end of the year but that in the end it postponed after verifying at the last summit of EU leaders that it is an issue that generates tensions between capitals. Member States and the Sustainable Finance Platform have until January 12 to respond to the proposal. The Commission will then prepare a delegated law that will be sent to countries and the European Parliament for discussion.

Link Web: https://www.elmundo.es/deportes/juegos-olimpicos/2021/08/02/6107abe6e4d4d8eb7d8b462e.html Marc Cucurella (Alella, 1998) does not have godparents, but what he has is unstoppable. He mane in the wind, he advances like a Tasmanian devil, as whose life is going to him. He is that way. The departure from Barcelona, where he barely had a few minutes in the first team, exposed him to the reality of a football where you are worth what you play, first in Eibar, then in Getafe, with tough people like Mendilibar or Bordalás. They both used his energy in the attack, and that way he reached Spain and the Games. Two rungs are missing for gold. The first, today (13:00, Spanish time) in the semifinal against Japan. Question: You did not start playing the Olympic tournament, but you entered the second match, against Australia, to be out of the eleven again later. The six of the Euro, on the other hand, do not move from the ownership. Answer: We have played practically all of us and we are all important. There we have Rafa [Mir]. If we're still in the tournament, it's for one minute of yours. That is the example and the attitude to have. It is the coach who makes the line-ups, of course, but the feeling I have is that we are all the same here. Q: He says it because of his past, because of his departure from Barcelona. A: I say this for the present. This is a short and unique tournament, which you can play once in your life as a footballer and if it happens you won't come back. That is why we have to enjoy it in every way, in different things for us, like living in the Olympic Village, in little apartments of eight at a time. And, of course, win it, which is our goal. My departure from Barcelona took place in a different context. Q: On the other hand, it did not prevent you from finding your way to the national team: the U21, the Olympic and the debut with the senior team. A: At Barça I didn't have the opportunities that I would have liked, it's the truth. I played no more than five minutes in the Cup with the first team, and that is very little to show what you have as a footballer. Mingueza or Pedri, on the other hand, can now return the trust they have been given, in this case Koeman. Young people with quality do not fail, but they need matches, release from pressure and adapt. Q: Did it frustrate you? A: No, things just went that way and we don't have to think about it any more. In this you have to look forward. Afterwards, the truth is that I have done well, I have even made my debut with the senior team, and here I am, at the Olympic Games. Q: It is that you give war wherever you go. A: I try to contribute what I know how to do on the field. In the lower categories of Barça I played as a winger and, the truth is that I always felt that way. Upon arriving at Eibar, the coach [José Luis Mendilibar] advanced my position and asked me for depth. I have depochanged teams, but I am still there. Q: The transition is usually the other way around, from winger to winger, like Juanfran at Atlético or Navas at Sevilla. A: I was younger, perhaps still to be defined as a footballer. Both Eibar and Getafe have done me very well, because they are teams that seek to progress a lot on the wings, to do damage with plays of two against one. Q: Is it the same as De la Fuente asks you in the selection? A: That is, be aggressive, take the initiative from behind, be deep, face, look for the overflow ... Today's football has become so tactical that there are not many footballers of that type anymore. I guess that's why the technicians advanced my position. Q: After the debut against Egypt, very flat, the truth is that the team needed that and more. A: In the first game we were perhaps more unemployed, with less mobility, but then we found our game, although it was difficult to define the games. We already expected these difficulties, because the level in football has become very equal. We have seen Brazil suffer, Germany, France fall ... They all also have the same illusion to achieve a unique gold, as I said. In my case, I still remember Brazil's victory in London, with Neymar. I would never have thought then that he would have the same opportunity. Q: Japan is next. Although without an audience, he plays in his country, and it is football that seems to have hooked the local fans the most, reluctant to the Games because of the Covid. A: They have thoroughly prepared the Games, as any local team does in a tournament. Although they reached penalties in the quarterfinals, they had a spectacular group stage. They will leave it all in the field. We also. Q: With or without gold, they will return with very few vacations and return to the League, with Getafe. A: They will be few, but the experience is worth it. Q: Do you expect a big change with Míchel? A: Each coach has his stamp, it is reality, but I think there are two winners. Q: How do you find a Catalan in Madrid? Well, the truth is that I am very comfortable, both my family and I. A: I have all my people in Barcelona, of course, but if they told me that I have to live my whole life in Madrid, I would not complain.

But it will only be necessary when you want to access the nightlife venues, that is, cocktail bars and discos. This was confirmed this Monday by the president of the Board, Juanma Moreno, after the celebration of the committee of experts that has analyzed the evolution of the pandemic. Moreno has pointed out that if you do not have the Covid passport, you can enter these premises with a negative PCR or a negative antigen test. According to the Minister of Health and Families, the need to present a Covid passport, test or negative PCR will only be to access the interior of the nightlife venues, not for the exterior. The EU Covid passport, in force since July 1 in Spain, explains from the Ministry of Health, "includes the vaccination schedule, the recovery certificate or a negative PDIA in the last 72 hours." The document can be downloaded through ClicSalud +, the Salud Andalucía app or at the health centers themselves. Senior residences The committee of experts has also addressed the situation in nursing homes, where infections have grown in recent weeks "in a staggered manner," Aguirre explained. In these centers, it is proposed to carry out a weekly Covid-19 test to unvaccinated workers to control possible sources of entry of the virus. In addition, Aguirre has indicated, it is proposed that in residences where there is at least one positive case of coronavirus, both residents and workers wear a mask "indoors and outdoors." Finally, it has proposed the extension of the measures in force since last July 22 and that were related to the modification of capacity and curfew. The committee of experts, added the Minister of Health, will meet again "in mid-August", that is, in the week from 16 to 22 of this month.

Several years ago a new virus called LemonDuck was discovered, which uses vulnerabilities to steal data and mine cryptocurrencies. After a long time, it has been seen that Lemonduck has evolved and now attacks the Linux system. It is very rare that there is a virus that attacks Linux like the case that is presented to us today with LemonDuck. Viruses are usually made for the most widespread systems from which it is most likely to profit economically. For this reason, we almost only hear about Windows viruses, not so much about Mac or Linux viruses. Linux vulnerabilities give way to LemonDuck virus Among the new malicious functions that this new version of LemonDuck has, it is stealing credentials, deactivating computer security controls, going to the mail application and sending mass emails impersonating the identity of the sender, and opening security holes by itself to make it much easier to make future attacks. Without a doubt, it is a potentially dangerous virus, now more than it attacks Linux systems. Linux is not the most widespread desktop operating system, but it is widely used in massive storage, data centers and more services due to its versatility. And now all these devices are at risk of being exposed and being used for malicious purposes. Some flaws Lemonduck can take advantage of: CVE-2019-0708, CVE-2017-0144 CVE-2020-0796 CVE-2017-8464 CVE-2021-27065 CVE-2021-26855 CVE-2021-26857 CVE-2021-26858 We are advised to patch and fix these security flaws if we can. Although this virus is especially focused on users in China, we must not lower our guard because it has been seen in systems in the United States, United Kingdom and the European Union, among others. In addition, despite the fact that in this news we have emphasized that LemonDuck attacks Linux users, if we have Windows we will also be exposed, so we have to review the files and our security systems. Link Web: https://www.portalautomotriz.com/noticias/corporativo-e-industria/el-grupo-volkswagen-aumenta-las-perspectivas-para-2021-tras This positive development was driven in particular by the premium brands Audi and Porsche and by Volkswagen Financial Services. The impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and the global semiconductor shortage were successfully contained. There was strong customer demand for the Group's attractive model range as markets continued to recover. As a result, deliveries increased by 27.9 percent to 5.0 (3.9) million vehicles during the weakest period of the previous year, which was affected by the pandemic. Sales revenue increased even more strongly by 34.9 percent to € 129.7 (96.1) billion. The operating result was 11.4 billion euros (first half of 2020 before special items: –0.8 billion euros), far exceeding the previous record of 10 billion euros (before special items) of the year prior to the crisis 2019, with a strong 8.8 (first semester of 2020 before special items: –0.8 percent). The higher gains were mainly due to higher vehicle sales, improvements in the product mix and prices, as well as positive effects of the valuation of raw material hedges. Extraordinary restructuring expenses of € 700 million had a negative impact. Work on ongoing fixed cost programs was vigorously pursued. The Automotive Division generated a very high adjusted net cash flow of 12.3 (-2.3) billion euros and, therefore, once again demonstrated the great efficiency of its business model. The Division's net liquidity continued to grow to a very strong level of € 35 billion. The acquisition of Navistar and its financial impact are not included in the figures. As a result of extremely good business performance in the first half of the year, the Volkswagen Group has raised its operating performance outlook on sales for the full year 2021 by 0.5 percent, from 6.0 to 7.5 percent. Herbert Diess, CEO of the Volkswagen Group said: “We maintain our accelerated pace, both from an operational and strategic point of view. The record result in the first half of the year is clear proof of how strong our brands are and how attractive their products are. The premium segment performed especially well with double-digit returns, as did Financial Services. Our electricity offensive is gathering momentum and we will continue to increase its pace in the coming months. We are also realigning the company with our new New Auto group strategy so that we can take advantage of future earnings funds. By doing so, we are preparing Volkswagen to play a leading role in the new world of mobility. " Arno Antlitz, Volkswagen Group CFO: “The financial performance of the Volkswagen Group in the first half of the year impressively demonstrates the strength of our company. Our operating return on sales after six months was 8.8 percent. In particular, the second quarter was exceptionally strong. Our net cash flow of € 10.2 billion is also a solid result and was achieved despite our considerable future investments. We have successfully contained the impacts of semiconductor bottlenecks to date, although we anticipate somewhat more pronounced effects in the third quarter. However, our assessment of our business performance for the year as a whole has improved even more, so we have raised our outlook. " Operating business remains strong In the first half of the year, the Volkswagen Group increased its global deliveries significantly by 27.9 percent to 5.0 million vehicles during the same period last year, which was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The world market share of passenger cars declined slightly by 0.2 percentage points to 12.6 percent in the same period. While the Group was able to increase its market share significantly in its local market in Europe and North America, it recently saw declines in China, its largest single market, due to semiconductor bottlenecks. As planned, the Group has further increased the pace of its successful electric offensive. A total of 171,000 fully electric vehicles (BEVs) were delivered worldwide at the end of June, more than double the previous year period (+165 percent). After 60,000 BEV was delivered to customers in the first quarter, that figure increased significantly as planned to 111,000 BEV in the second quarter. The ratio of Modular Electric Drive Toolkit (MEB) -based vehicles to all BEVs was already over 60 percent in the second quarter. BEV's acceleration will accelerate further in the course of the year due to the expanded model range. The Group has also systematically expanded its model portfolio with a Plug-in Hybrid Unit (PHEV), and there is high demand from customers: a total of 171,000 PHEVs were delivered in the first half of the year, more than three times more in the year. period of the previous year (+204 percent). Premium brands Audi and Porsche performed especially strong, posting record deliveries for the first half of the year and double-digit operating performance on sales of 10.7 and 17.6 percent, respectively. Volkswagen Financial Services also performed very well, more than doubling its operating result year-over-year to 2.3 billion euros. Among other things, it benefited from a strong used car business and a positive trend in risk costs. Due to increased vehicle sales and higher demand for higher margin models, the Group's sales revenue increased significantly by 34.9 percent to € 129.7 (96.1) billion. Operating income was 11.4 billion euros (first half of 2020 before special items: –0.8 billion euros), far exceeding the previous record of 10 billion euros (before special items) of the year prior to the crisis of 2019. with a strong 8.8 percent. The higher gains were mainly due to higher vehicle sales, improvements in the product mix and prices, as well as positive effects of the valuation of raw material hedges. Extraordinary restructuring expenses of € 700 million at MAN had a negative impact. Work on ongoing fixed cost programs was vigorously pursued. Earnings before and after taxes also improved significantly to 11.2 (–1.4) billion euros and 8.5 (–1.0) billion euros, respectively. Earnings per preferred share thus reached a solid level of 16.20 euros (–2.33). Automotive Division: Strong cash flow performance further improved, net liquidity increases again Strong business and cost-cutting measures continued to have a positive impact on financial performance. The reported net cash flow in the Automotive Division was EUR 10.2 (–4.8) billion euros. Adjusted for mergers and acquisitions and cash outflows attributable to diesel, net cash flow was a solid 12.3 (-2.3) billion euros. Therefore, it was around 80 percent higher than the level of the year before the 2019 crisis. Net liquidity in the Automotive Division also showed positive growth again and rose to a very solid level of 35 billion euros. It was 29.6 billion euros at the end of the first quarter. The acquisition of Navistar and its financial impact are not included in the figures. Research and development costs increased to 7.7 (6.7) billion euros due to the necessary future-oriented investments in new models and technologies, as well as software. However, the R&D index fell significantly to 7.2 percent in the current year, following a figure of 8.7 percent in the prior year period that was due to low sales revenue related to the pandemic. Enhanced investment discipline and greater use of the Group's synergies led to significant progress in equity investments. These decreased by 8.5 percent from the prior year period to 3.8 (4.1) billion euros. Consequently, the investment index fell dramatically to 3.5 (5.4) percent, placing it significantly below the level of the pre-crisis quarter in 2019 (4.9 percent). Outlook 2021 Based on business performance in the first half of 2021, the Volkswagen Group is adjusting much of its forecast for core performance indicators. The risk of bottlenecks and interruptions in the supply of semiconductor components has intensified throughout the industry. The adverse impact expected as a result will tend to affect the second half of the year. Consequently, the Group is lowering its forecast of deliveries to customers and assumes that, provided the Covid-19 pandemic is successfully contained, in 2021 they will be markedly above the previous year amid continued challenging market conditions. The challenges will arise particularly from the economic situation, the increasing intensity of competition, volatile markets for commodities and currencies, the security of supply chains and the stricter requirements related to emissions. The Volkswagen Group's sales revenue in 2021 is expected to be significantly higher than the previous year's figure. In terms of operating result, the Group anticipates an operating return on sales of between 6.0 and 7.5 percent in 2021. In the Automotive Division, net cash flow is expected to be much stronger than the prior year due to lower cash outflows from diesel and significantly higher M&A effects. This will lead to a very strong increase in net liquidity. The plans are based on the current structures of the Volkswagen Group. The acquisition of all outstanding shares of Navistar International Corporation and the resulting effects on results of operations, financial position and net assets have not been taken into account in the Volkswagen Group forecast.

Link Web: https://www.elmundo.es/deportes/juegos-olimpicos/2021/07/29/610224bcfc6c83472a8b45a7.html Hugo González will not be in the final of 200 styles, not being able to find in the semifinals those "good feelings" that until now had made him progress day by day at the Aquatics Center in Tokyo. The Spaniard finished sixth in the second, without ever being in the sets that promised him to enter the top eight. Contrary to the series that led him to the 100 backstroke final, it was at least on the day where he had to obtain the place for the final in which he was European champion. The Games are a different environment, due to competition and emotions. Among the three qualifiers in their semi-final, to begin with, there were no Europeans: a Chinese, an American and a Japanese. The best, Shun Wang, swam in 1: 56.22. Hugo González did worse than in his series the day before, staying at 1: 57.96, 32 hundredths behind the last to enter the final, veteran Laszlo Cseh, with 1: 57.64, at 32 years old. "There are no excuses, I don't have them," said the Spaniard, clearly disappointed. "I lost two tenths in the first 50 and I no longer recovered them. I did not feel like in the previous days," he continued, before leaving a disturbing doubt, in the microphones of Cadena Cope: "I hope it is not my last race in some Games, since I don't know what help I will have ". The scholarships are determined by the positions and not being in the final of 200 styles is a handicap, although the Spanish did reach the 100 backstroke. A DISTANCE WITHOUT AN OWNER At 22, González sees a full Olympic cycle ahead, the one that leads to Paris, where he will be 25, since his explosion has just occurred, with a title and two more medals at the Budapest European Championship. Now he will have to define how to design his preparation until 2024. The Canoe swimmer modified a part of his program after training in the United States, to which Hugo himself attaches a capital importance in his progression. The bad feelings were evident in his semifinal. He even changed his breathing side at the end to get better references, but he could not overcome in his two strongest 50 theoretically, the breaststroke and the freestyle He was eighth in the first step, the butterfly, and he no longer improved the sixth place in the following. The passing times already made us fear the worst. And the 1: 57.96 was a second slower than the one credited for continental gold in May (1: 56.76). It is, for now, his national record. Repeating it would have given him podium options in open styles in Tokyo. Proof of this is the fact that 400 specialty champion Chase Kalisz will not enter the 200 final. Without Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte, he awaits owner. SURPRISE IN 200 BACK This bad news for Spanish swimming, which dreamed of a Mallorcan medal, was preceded by, at least, a good one. At 19 years old, Nico García is ahead of his time, his progression. He will be the youngest finalist in the 200 backstroke final. In the two men of the specialty there has been a Spanish representative, a fact to highlight. The Gredos swimmer did not resign himself to accumulating experience in his Olympic debut and in the second semifinal he took a bite of seven tenths to his mark to leave it at 1: 56.35. He came third after managing his forces well, especially in the third 50, to squeeze the remaining energy and move up one place in last. It is the best national brand achieved with a textile swimsuit. Being in the final, the next morning, is already a great success for this future swimmer. Improving the times on the appointed day is key in these appointments. Just what Hugo González failed. The one who couldn't reach her was Jessica Vall. The Catalan finished sixth in her 200 breaststroke semi-final, with a worse time than her series (2: 24.87). At the age of 32, her Olympic cycle is coming to an end, waiting to know what Mireia Belmonte, leader of a Spanish swimming with chiaroscuro, was doing in the 800s.

In the Japanese oven, with temperatures close to 40º and a humidity higher than 70%, competing in conditions is a chimera. Without the protection of a shadow and with the only protection of a cap, the fight is against the rival and against one's own body, which faints. Badosa has to retire in a wheelchair, dizzy. Daniil Medvedev suffers between point and point. He sighs, he leans on the racket with visible gestures of exhaustion and receives medical attention twice. Carlos Ramos, the chair umpire, asks him if he can continue playing, to which the Russian responds with a very hard blow, which remains unanswered: “I can finish the game, but I can die. Do you want me to die of heat? If I die, will you be responsible? ». At the Ariake Tennis Park, without an audience, only players, judges and ball boys absorb the heat. "I was ready to hit the court," he said after the game. But still Medvedev won. 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 over Italian Fabio Fognini to reach the quarterfinals. Badosa, however, could not bear that dizzying sensation of suffocation.

Intel has offered another hint that Microsoft plans to release Windows 11 in October. Windows Latest reported that Intel referred to Windows 11 as the "October 2021 Update (21H2)" in the DCH GPU Driver Release Notes 30.0.100.9684. That naming convention follows the same pattern as major Windows 10 updates, and the Windows 10 May 2021 update is also known as version 21H1, for example. Intel also clarified that it was not referring to an upcoming version of Windows 10 by identifying the operating system as "Microsoft Windows 11-64." Windows 11 would come out in October, with some Windows 10 update in between Microsoft could still release a notable update for Windows 10 in the second half of the year, of course, but Intel was specifically targeting Windows 11 with this driver update. There have been other signs that Microsoft plans to release Windows 11 in October, even though it is officially scheduled to launch over the holidays. Various widgets, messages, and user interface elements in the company's promotional materials refer to October. That's an Easter egg or an April Fool’s joke. However, not many people will be able to use Windows 11 at launch. Microsoft's Windows 11 requirements exclude many PCs with pre-2016 CPUs. Microsoft has said on Twitter that even Windows 10 devices capable of installing the update would have to wait to use it anyway because it won't start rolling out on their devices until the beginning of 2022. Everything indicates that the launch of Windows 11, possibly in October, will be something staggered and not something massive. They may do it to see how it adapts in different configurations and that way it gives the least amount of problems since the launch of Windows 11 is a very important one for the company if they want billions of systems to be updated.
