Global Moderators #Steeven.™ Posted yesterday at 01:33 Posted yesterday at 01:33 When we talk about a PC, we're talking about a rectangular case, the same format that's been used for over 40 years. While it's true that we can find designs on the market that break the mold (like a shoe or a shark), their high price puts them out of reach for most people. The same is more or less true for mini PCs. And we say more or less because lately, some manufacturers have made a point, and for the better, of changing the traditional design, like the ASUS ROG NUC, the ROG GR70, and the AYANEO AM03 mini PC, with its minimalist touch and pastel colors. Today we bring you another design that's completely out of the ordinary. We're talking about the GTBOX T1 mini PC, a speaker-shaped mini PC that, aesthetically, is reminiscent of Apple's HomePod. Mini PC in the Shape of a Speaker GTBOX aims to become a more accessible option for users seeking a mini PC that breaks away from the classic rectangular design and its boring black and dark blue colors with the T1. As seen in the images in this article, this device is shaped like a blue cylinder and can easily blend into any desk or even a shelf, looking like a simple speaker. Inside the GTBOX T1, we find the AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor. While not the most cutting-edge AMD processor currently available, its 8 cores and 16 threads, along with the Radeon 780M graphics card, provide more than enough for many users. Along with the processor, we find 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. According to the manufacturer, the system should not be disassembled, as it cannot be properly reassembled. This means that if you're looking for a mini PC that you can upgrade in the future, this isn't the model for you. It features two 5W speakers, and thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, it can be used as a wireless speaker, although with rather limited power. On the back, we find all sorts of connectivity options, including a USB 4.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, three USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 2.0 port, a 2.5G RJ-45 port, a headphone/microphone jack, and the power button. Given the design, the power button would have been better placed on the top for easier access. The power connector is also located on the back. Price and Availability The GTBOX T1 is now available through the manufacturer's website. As a launch promotion, it can be purchased for $549.99, a discount of $50 off the regular price. https://hardzone.es/noticias/equipos/mini-pc-gtbox-ryzen-altavoz-integrado/ Quote
