Global Moderators 么 ANGRRY Posted October 25 Posted October 25 In an effort to appeal to as many users as possible, the Swedes at Fractal Design have been constantly refreshing their product portfolio in recent years. The only category that has been ignored has been that of mini-ITX cases, which has not received a new member since the launch of the Nano S in 2016. Ultra-compact cases have exploded in po[CENSORED]rity in recent times, so the Swedish manufacturer came up with an answer for this market segment a few weeks ago. The new case from Fractal Design is called Era ITX and aims to eliminate most of the restrictions we encounter when building a mini-ITX system. It is made in collaboration with Intel and has an aluminum construction, complemented by wooden elements or tempered glass for added elegance. It has a volume of only 16 liters and, among other things, boasts support for dual slot graphics cards, all-in-one cooling solutions with radiators up to 240 mm and up to four storage drives. In addition to SFX and SFX-L power supplies, mandatory in most mini-ITX cases, Era ITX also supports ATX power supplies, thus facilitating the easy transition of users to a compact system. For airflow, the case uses a "chimney" design, with the intake at the bottom and the hot air being expelled at the top. It is available in five SKUs, three with a tempered glass top panel (Cobalt, Carbon and Gold) and two with a wood finish panel (Silver – White Oak and Titanium Gray – Walnut), all with the same recommended price – 164.99 Euros, or around 800 Lei.
