-HuNTeR- Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 A few days after several reports indicating that Naughty Dog would be laying off some of its workers and that the development of The Last of Us Online has been temporarily frozen, Spanish content creator Joanastic has discovered that Anders Howard, lead monetization designer of the aforementioned multiplayer title, has left the Californian studio. Howard joined the PlayStation Studios company in 2022 and, according to the report, has only worked for eleven months at the developer. Apparently, Howard was specifically in charge of game system design and monetization on The Last of Us Online. Before joining Naughty Dog, Howard had worked for Ubisoft and Epic Games. During his time at Epic Games, he was a systems designer on Fortnite, where he "helped form the core of the Battle Pass progression strategy, delivering overwhelming value for that product to as many players as possible."
