What this means is that messages received from SIM 1 will be stored separately in the Messages app while messages from SIM 2 will be kept separately. This will give users the option to better manage their texts. Furthermore, iOS 17 will also bring dedicated ringtones for dual-SIM iPhone models. It will allow users to easily identify if a call is coming from SIM 1 or SIM 2. Currently, whenever the iPhone rings, it does not specify if the call is coming for SIM 1 or SIM 2.
