ぁ Ꭷbito-
After a tough fight that has lasted almost 2 years, Microsoft has been able to take over Activision-Blizzard. This acquisition took place for almost $69 billion, which has allowed the teams of both companies to merge to bring more games to more players. But it has also left sad news, Microsoft will lay off 1,900 employees from a staff of more than 22,000, belonging to the Activision, ZeniMax and Xbox teams. In this same announcement, Microsoft has also emphasized that going forward they will continue to invest to grow their gaming business by supporting their initiative to offer their games on all possible platforms. On the other hand, Mike Ybarra, who has spent more than 20 years at Microsoft and who was in charge as president of Blizzard, has decided to leave his position. He has announced this on X/Twitter where he has expressed his desire to become a Blizzard fan from the outside. Along with Mike, Allen Adham has also left his position. I am a Computer Engineer and my specialty is automation and robotics. My passion for hardware began at the age of 14 when I broke down my first computer: a 386 DX 40 with 4MB of RAM and 210MB of hard drive. I continue to give free rein to my passion in the technical articles I write for Geeknetic. I dedicate most of my free time to video games, contemporary and retro, on the more than 20 consoles I have, in addition to the PC.
