The fuel tank on the KTM 890 SMT has been specifically designed to improve rider ergonomics. The powerful brakes have four-piston calipers biting down on a 320mm disc at the front and a dual-piston caliper and 260mm disc at the rear. The bike has a few extras, such as heated grips and the option to add Engine Brake Regulation to the Software Package (MSR), which can improve control in low-grip situations and quickly downshift. QUICKSHIFTER+ and Cruise Control are optional and can be easily activated. The KTMconnect App offers good connectivity with the bike and provides roadside assistance, instruction manuals and a digital maintenance book for checks and maintenance.
