Pokémon TCG Live will be permanently available next month and it's the best chance the card game has ever had.

After spending more than half a year in the testing phase, Pokémon TCG Live will be released definitively on June 8, 2023. The application will take over from Pokémon TCG Online to become the only digital platform where we can enjoy officially from the franchise trading card game. In a year in which the only news regarding the main games will be the downloadable content of Scarlet and Purple, those responsible for the saga launch an ordeal to take advantage of the potential of a side of the franchise that is somewhat ignored by the players.

The great objective of Pokémon TCG Live is to present an alternative way of enjoying the saga that, although it is po[CENSORED]r, has never quite reached the public it aspires to. According to those responsible for the franchise, the release "offers beginning and veteran players a fun and accessible way to experience the collectible card game." A proposal that promises to include different game modes and be more adapted to what we would expect from a title released in 2023.

The plan is not to eliminate what already worked from Pokémon TCG Online, but to expand the experience. The Pokémon Company wanted to remind fans of the saga that they will be able to transfer an important part of their progress to their new title. All compatible cards as of March 1, 2023 will carry over to the new Pokémon TCG Live, even if we trade them in the next few weeks. Of course, no new content will be released for the video game until the closure of the servers takes place on June 5.
