She won the 1968 Eurovision Song Contest with the song La, la, la. She was born on August 2, 1947 in Madrid. She debuted before the public in 1966 performing the song Say no in Madrid. She performed at several song festivals and in one of them she won the critics' award with the song Rufo the fisherman. In 1968 she won the Eurovision Song Contest at the Royal Albert Hall in London, so her po[CENSORED]rity spread throughout Europe.
