#Steeven.™ Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 The Lamborghini Revuelto 2024 is the replacement for the Lamborghini Aventador, the model launched in 2012 that followed the saga of the Countach (1971), Diablo (1990) and Murciélago (2006). Like them, it has an atmospheric V12 engine, the house brand of Sant'Agata Bolognese, but now it has a plug-in hybrid system that brings its power up to 10.15 CV. It makes sense then that they identify it, playing with the initials, as a HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) instead of PHEV, (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles). Made on a carbon fiber monocoque chassis, its image is spectacular. The rear is striking, with a very wide and slender tail, thanks to the fact that the gearbox has been placed in a transverse position. In this area, the engine is visible, without a cover of any kind, placed under the third brake light or the double hexagonal exhaust outlet, flanked by the headlamps in the shape of a lying Y. The spoiler is also interesting at the rear. The new Lamborghini Revuelto has active aerodynamics, so it closes at low speeds to use less fuel and then can open in various positions either to reach higher speeds or to have better cornering. The brand indicates that it has 33% more downforce at the front and 74% more at the rear compared to the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, thanks to the fact that the semi-active suspension helps in this regard. At the front, the Y pattern is repeated in the daytime running lights, and there's no shortage of sharp, ridged front hood. The use of the new chassis allows for better visibility from the inside, which is accessed, of course, through upward-sloping scissor-opening doors. The passenger compartment has not been able to do without screens. There is a vertical arrangement of 8.4 inches and one for the instrument panel, 12.3 inches behind the wheel. The passenger can use a third, a 9.1-inch monitor where you can choose to see the same as the driver or other applications. Multiple elements are controlled from the steering wheel, such as the driving modes, the inclination of the rear wing, the elevation of the car, the indicators or the Launch Control. And although nobody will notice it, but compared to the Aventador it has 8.4 cm more for the legs and more space to place luggage behind the seats (in addition to a small compartment under the front hood, where two cabin suitcases fit of airplaine. Lamborghini Revuelto 2024. Engine The total power of the system of 1,015 CV is achieved by combining a 6.5-liter V12 engine that reaches 825 CV at 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, with three electric motors (a rear one of 110 kW –150 CV– and 150 Nm, to offer all-wheel drive and two rear 140 kW –190 CV– and 350 Nm of torque, which each move one wheel to help better cornering and recover energy on deceleration. It debuts an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, mounted transversely as in the Lamborghini Miura, (its predecessors mounted it longitudinally in the central tunnel between the seats). The reason for the change? Place the 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, which supports charges of up to 7 kW of alternating current (in 30 minutes you have a full charge). If someone plans to use it in electric mode, it has a range of 10 km. There are three energy management programs (Recharge, Hybrid and Performance), which can be combined with the driving modes: City: To move in electric mode in the city... at a maximum power of 180 CV and all the parameters in the most comfortable mode. It is normally a front wheel drive and the rear is coupled if necessary. Reverse is always in electric mode. Road: The power rises to 886 hp, the V12 engine always works and the battery always has enough reserve to have the torque vectoring function in the front electric motors. Active aerodynamics are configured to offer maximum stability at high speeds. Sport: It gains power up to 907 hp, the gearbox goes faster and changes gear at higher revs, and the aerodynamics generate more load. Corsa: You have 1,015 hp available, permanent all-wheel drive and torque vectoring are more precise... and you can deactivate the electronic stability and traction controls, in addition to activating Launch Control, by pressing the button in the center of the steering wheel's left rotor for a few seconds. Benefits of the Lamborghini Revuelto? It barely needs 2.5 seconds to complete 0-100 km/h and it exceeds 350 km/h top speed. Lamborghini Revuelto 2024. Equipment If all of the above does not convince you enough, know that the Lamborghini Revuelto offers an infotainment system with automatic updates from the Internet and integrates the Amazon Alexa assistant to control air conditioning, navigation or multimedia by voice commands. It also includes the Lamborghini Unica application, with functions to view the status of the car, fuel level, battery charge, autonomy or location from the mobile. You can open or close doors with the Apple watch and it can notify you in case of theft. In addition, never before has a Lamborghini had so many driving aids like this, with elements such as adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alert or active lane change warning. And if all this still does not convince you, there is the Ad Personam program. The customization is almost endless. You can choose its bodywork from 400 colors (and if you don't like any of them, which would be bad luck, you bring them the one you want). And the same with the upholstery, made with an ultralight Corsa-Tex Dinamica microfiber fabric, with 70 shades to choose from. https://noticias.coches.com/lamborghini-revuelto-2024 Quote
