"We are looking forward to seeing if it is not possible to pass through the Black Sea instead of by land, especially by studying the land routes through Romania and Poland," French Agriculture Minister Marc Vesnot said in statements today, Monday.

He added that they would continue to work for a system that "does not put us under the will and goodwill, or in this case the bad faith, of Russian President Vladimir Putin."

Meanwhile, the Russian presidency said that the continued transport of grain from Ukraine through the Black Sea without Russia's participation would be dangerous.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that Russia could not guarantee safe navigation in the region, and therefore "it will be difficult to implement" the international agreement on grain exports.

Peskov added that the grain initiative, which aims to ensure the continuation of grain exports from Ukraine during the war, "will take a different, more dangerous and without guarantees chapter" without Russia's participation.

On Saturday, Russia suspended its participation in the United Nations-brokered grain deal "indefinitely" after it said a major attack by Ukrainian drones had been carried out on its fleet in the Black Sea in the Crimea region.

16 ships
But the United Nations, Turkey and Ukraine went ahead with the implementation of the agreement to transport grain through the Black Sea, as it was agreed on a movement plan according to which 16 ships would depart, despite Russia's withdrawal from the agreement that allowed the export of Ukrainian agricultural products to world markets.

Ukraine's Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kobrakov said 12 ships had moved out of Ukrainian ports today under the Black Sea Grain Initiative, after a UN spokesperson for the initiative said teams from Turkey and the United Nations had resumed inspections of ships under the agreement.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed that his country will continue its humanitarian efforts regarding the grain transfer agreement, noting that Turkey has transported more than 9 million tons of wheat to the world.

Erdogan saw that Russia was acting reluctantly on this issue, because it did not receive facilities similar to those provided to the Ukrainian side.

On Sunday, no ships moved through the maritime humanitarian corridor established under the grain agreement, but the United Nations said - in a statement - that it had agreed with Ukraine and Turkey on a plan to move 16 ships today, Monday, 12 departing ships and 4 arriving ships.
