(Reuters) - Russian news agencies quoted Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov as saying on Tuesday that Russian forces had fully taken control of all the territory in the Kherson region in southern Ukraine.

 

And the Interfax news agency, quoting the ministry, reported that the Russian forces had shot down six Bayraktar TB-2 drones during the past 24 hours.

 

Reuters could not independently verify the news.
