  • Other Information: Alexandre Magno Abrão (São Paulo, April 9, 1970 - São Paulo, March 6, 2013), better known by his stage name Chorão, was a Brazilian singer, composer, skateboarder, filmmaker, screenwriter and entrepreneur.
  • He was the vocalist, main lyricist and co-founder of the Santos band Charlie Brown Jr., formed in 1992 along with Renato Pelado, Marcão, Champignon and Thiago Castanho, being the only member to participate in all formations. With Charlie Brown, he released ten records, which sold over five million copies. He had a difficult childhood and adolescence, his mother was a housewife, made pastries, cooked outside for him to deliver. Chorão lived on the street, did poorly at school, stopped studying in the seventh grade, and often had problems with the police. At the age of 21, he was invited to join a band with Champignon called What's Up, but it didn't work out, so he formed Charlie Brown Jr.. In 2007, Chorão wrote the script for the movie O Magnata. In 2009, he launched his clothing brand, DO.CE. and La Plata. He died on March 6, 2013, in São Paulo, aged 42, from a cocaine overdose.
