It is the beginning of menstruation, a cycle of the human female that repeats every 28 days, more days less, and will only be interrupted by pregnancy, if it occurs. It is clear that menstruation is a pregnancy that was not, with a very effusive "protest".

The dog's zeal is the opposite. It is a very bombastic preparation to receive the future calf.
