Cooler Master MasterAir MA624

The Cooler Master MasterAir MA624 Stealth is the latest addition to the brand's cooling catalog, and is the largest heatsink of the brand. With a double tower and double fan design, this heatsink aims to compete with the largest in this huge market thanks to the incorporation of new technologies that allow to "scratch" up to the last tenth of performance.

The market for PC cooling is more than crowded with models of all sizes, shapes and colors, so it is quite difficult to stand out in one area or another. Cooler Master's MasterAir MA624 Stealth aims to enter the high-end directly based on brute force, since we are facing a huge heatsink (measures 144.9 x 153.2 x 160 mm) that incorporates no less than three factory fans.

As we said, the heatsink includes no less than three fans from the factory, two of them 140 mm (SickleFlow) and the third 120 mm, this being smaller than the other two to interfere less with large RAM memory modules. As with Noctua's high-end heatsinks like the NH-D15, the fan on the right side can be raised to avoid interfering with any type of RAM

It has two blocks of aluminum sheets threaded by six 6 mm thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes, with a fan on each side and another in the center. According to the manufacturer, this heatsink can work perfectly only with the fan in the center to have a much smaller size and, at the same time, much quieter

Each 140mm SickleFlow fan spins at 650-1400 RPM, pushing up to 67 CFM of air and emitting a maximum of 27 dBA of noise. The 120mm model runs up to 1800 RPM speed, moving 62 CFM airflow and also emitting 27 dBA of noise, so even with the three fan setup this Cooler Master heatsink is pretty quiet

The six heat pipes converge from the base, welded to them, so it does not use direct contact technology. As you can see in the images, the upper part is covered by a screwed aluminum block, brushed in black.

The heatsink is compatible with all modern processor sockets except TR4, including Intel LGA1200, LGA2066, and AMD AM4. Of course, if reading this you liked and want to buy it, you should take into account its enormous dimensions, so we recommend you check that it fits in your box without problems, since as we say it is quite large (it measures 144.9 x 153.2 x 160mm; in comparison a Noctua NH-D15 measures 161 x 150 x 165mm).

Price and availability

For now the Cooler Master MasterAir MA624 Stealth is not even listed on the manufacturer's website, but it has appeared in some online stores in Hong Kong at a price of 785 HKD, about 83 euros. If we take this into account, there are quite a few ballots that when the heatsink reaches stores in Europe in the coming weeks its price will be increased by taxes, so it would not be surprising if we see it in stores at a price that is around the 100 or even 110 euros.
