Hossam Taibi
[Update: Epic Games has officially confirmed that any Fortnite players who make a real-money purchase and are not already a Disney+ subscriber will get two months of the service for free. The offer is not available for existing subscribers.] According to a dataminer, a Fortnite and Disney+ collaboration is coming our way. Twitter user VastBlast found evidence of the partnership by digging through the latest Fortnite patch, v14.50. As stated by the text VastBlast found, players will receive a free two-month subscription to Disney+, as long as they purchase V-Bucks or anything in the Item Shop using real-world money. The perk's exact terms and conditions are unknown, and we'll have to wait until Epic releases an official announcement. Epic and Disney collaborating once again makes sense, especially since Chapter 2, Season 4 is decked out in a Marvel superhero theme. In the past, Epic collaborated with other entertainment corporations too, such as Warner Bros. during Fortnite's DC Villains-themed pack. We've seen John Wick and Star Wars-related content also pop up in Fortnite, and likely will see many more crossovers in the future. In Fortnite's current battle pass, 220 tiers with special rewards are available to unlock. It's by far the most packed Season, and players have reportedly felt exhausted trying to gain experience and get each tier's special rewards. Fortnite's current season will end around November 22. Fortnite is available to play on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. When Xbox Series X/S and PS5 drop, Fortnite will also work on those platforms. Check out our guide on Fortnite's next-generation console improvements for what players can expect. The battle royale game currently can't be found in the Apple App Store or Google Store, and there's an ongoing lawsuit centered around these platforms.
