#Steeven.™ Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 (edited) Maserati is one of the most luxurious and exclusive firms of all those that form the premium sphere in the automotive sector. True, its sales level should be higher, but if the FCA Group knows how to exploit this position, it can find its rightful place. All in all, the trident house is a specialist in creating high performance versions and sporty aesthetics to cheer up its faithful. One of the most acclaimed is the Trophy family. The last model to wear this badge was the Levante all-rounder and, things as they are, their sales improved. Now it is time to improve the lineage and, if the teaser that the brand has published does not deceive us, expand it with new models. If you want to know what they are up to, pay attention, because they are also immersed in a renewal of the mechanical range that will bring us great surprises. Maserati will present the new Trophy range in August If everything goes according to plan, the debut of the renewed Trophy family will take place in a matter of days. It will be on August 10 when we know the news that this version experiences, but it seems that there will be more surprises. In the teaser the Ghibli and Quattroporte appear, two models that until now had not enjoyed such a finish. Therefore, the trident house would be thinking of expanding the family to attract a greater number of clients. At the moment it is all we know, although with the arrival of this image the rumor-making machine has got down to business. Until now, the Levante Trophy used the 3.8-liter V8 block of Ferrari origin. However, with the breakdown of their collaboration agreement, they will have to house another drive unit under their hood. In this case, it is speculated with a new 4.0-liter V8 of its own development. If we delve a little deeper into the rumors, we could announce even the performance it would have from this new engine. Apparently, this would reach 440 kW (600 hp) although we do not know if it is the base power or if it will be the maximum and below there will be other alternatives. All in all, the presentation is only days away, although we are convinced that before that we will have new data. That is sure. Edited July 30, 2020 by Dr.Drako Closed Topic / Complete 24 hours. 4
