Inkriql
The new MT-03 2020 inherits the applied technology of the Yamaha YZF-R3 Although Yamaha had announced that it would show its new model of the MT family on October 16, today it has released the first official data and images of the Yamaha MT-03. Using the Yamaha YZF-R3 as a base, the Japanese completely renew their 300 naked by incorporating a new family image. We can finally get an idea of what awaits us with the arrival of the new Yamaha MT-03 2020. We already told you the other day, the Iwata brand is obliged to renew due to the Euro 5 its two Master of torque of smaller displacement And so far it has already done with the 300 model. As we said, the base they have used is that of the Yamaha YZF-R3 we tried not too long ago. At least as regards the 321 cc propeller that continues to develop 42 hp at 10,750 revolutions and a torque of 29.6 Nm at 9,000 revolutions. The chassis seems to remain the same as in the previous generation and is also based in part on that of the R3. It loses rigidity to gain agility because the two main beams are made of 35 mm steel tubes. The swingarm also seems to remain the same, with its asymmetric construction. Where there are small changes it is in the cycle part since in front it now incorporates a 37 mm inverted fork without regulation and behind, a revised shock absorber with a travel of 125 mm. The brakes remain unchanged, with a 298 mm disc and floating caliper in front as well as a 220 mm disc and monopiston caliper behind. The tires remain in sizes 110/70 and 140/70, both mounted on 17 ″ wheels. The Euro 5 approval makes you earn a few kilos from 165 kg to 168 kg in full. The biggest differences are the big differences is in the aesthetic section. The front is inspired by that of the Yamaha MT-09 but especially in the MT-15 launched a year ago in Asia. It has two optics for daytime running lights and a magnifying glass central in which the crossing and road light is located. Behind, the instrumentation is now completely digital. Both the new Yamaha MT-03 2020 and the Yamaha MT-125 2020 that we should know in a few days are the first confirmed novelties of the Iwata brand for next year. In the case of MT-03 2020, the first units will be available at dealerships in December of this year.
