Spider-Man is an action and adventure video game based on the po[CENSORED]r Marvel Comics superhero. It was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 4 console. This is the first licensed video game developed by Insomniac. Its international launch took place on September 7, 2018

The game tells a completely original story of the spiderman that is not linked to previous movies or comics. Spider-Man is an open-world action and adventure video game, with a third-person perspective set in a modern New York city. The player mostly controls Spider-Man in his superhero role, although at certain times he can also play with Peter Parker as a civilian and with Mary Jane in infiltration situations.The game features a varied combat system that allows Spider- Man execute combinations of blows, both at ground level and in the air, use elements of the environment such as throwing projectiles and make definitive movements to defeat enemies. It also has its arachnid sense, a skill that warns of nearby dangers allowing it the ability to react, dodge and defend itself.18 In addition, it has a series of gadgets such as a drone that launches electric cobwebs and serves as a distraction, bombs that explode and send cobwebs to nearby enemies leaving them incapacitated for a few moments, or mines that immobilize the enemies against a wall or floor.

The player can freely tour the city using the cobwebs of the superhero, run and climb the walls to access high places or use the subway as a method of rapid travel.There are backpacks scattered throughout the city, which finding them will reward the player with different objects that serve to remember old hero events and resources to improve our gadgets.There is a wide variety of costumes available for Spider-Man, which are unlocked as the player levels up during the campaign. Each of them has some special feature, which serve as Power Ups for distraction, combat or massive among others.These suits can be customized by adding up to three modifiers that increase health, strength, obtaining XP, electrical damage, etc. . To unlock these new suits it is necessary to obtain different tokens to redeem them, these are obtained by overcoming different events which each will give us a different type of token, these events are for example: stop robberies, find backpacks, complete mini-games in the laboratory where you work Peter Parker, etc.

In addition to the missions corresponding to the main story, there are several side missions that are enabled as the player explores the city, overcomes events and ends story missions. These side missions can be, for example, helping a police technician to capture some thugs who interfere with their radio communications, helping a lady who sees suspicious movements in the park or her friend who is being blackmailed.
