Live albums on Google Photos have a limit, and you should know

At the beginning of the month the arrival of the new live albums of Google Photos was announced, one of the star characteristics by means of which some desired snapshots are included within a specific folder.

Thanks to this smart folder, all the photographic images that we have taken with our mobile device will be incorporated on those people or pets that we have previously selected, with notifications included.

Although everything seemed very nice to start, it has been confirmed that this new feature has a limit of 10,000 photographs in the live albums, not being able to upload more snapshots to the folder once that limit has been reached.

Although 10,000 photographs seem like a lot, it's not like that, given that nowadays photographs of any person, thing or animal are taken in a fairly repetitive and numerous way, so filling an album of 10,000 photos can be achieved in just a few months .

However, there are already people who have reached the limit, despite how new this feature is, and are complaining to Google about the impossibility of adding more photographs, causing many of these albums to stop making sense.

In addition to this noticeable limitation that was not previously announced, users also do not have any type of control tool for these albums, so they can not establish filters or criteria when entering one or other photographs.

In any case it is expected that this limit will be extended with the passage of time.
