Germán Márquez (11-9) starts to gain fame in his second season. The 23-year-old right-hander makes himself felt to the point that a Denver reporter has dubbed him "the growing ace of the Colorado Rockies."

And on Tuesday night he showed that this courtesy is not free. It struck to 11 in opening of 6.2 entrances in Coors Field against the Giants, presentation of which left without decision. For the second run, he struck out more than a dozen in less than nine acts and could not enjoy the win.

On August 30, he guillotined 13 Fathers in 8.0 acts. Five days later he shoots eleven and returns to leave empty-handed. In his shipment 104, with which he thought to close the seventh, Gorkys Hernandez took it to 432 feet and left the hill, after throwing 74 strikes and leaving the game down 2-1. But since justice is sometimes not blind, Carlos González with a triple driver in the seventh, avoided an unfair fall for his teammate. Apart from the two lines, Marquez allowed 7 hits and gave a ticket. In his last two starts, covering 14.2 innings, he has accepted 9 hits, 4 runs, 3 tickets, a whopping 24 strikeouts ... But he has not been able to win.
