The number of Instagram users is steadily increasing and a large number of people have recently dropped out of Facebook to migrate to Zuckerberg's other social network. For this reason, you should learn how to filter notifications on Instagram.

More and more influences have migrated from Facebook to Instagram. You may have heard that "reach" is higher on InstaStory and that it tends to become useless to post on Facebook, especially if you have a business or any other form of public page.

Unfortunately, greater reach and clever use of hashtags is not only reflected in increased exposure. Instead, if you are not careful, you will receive tens or hundreds of notifications every day. It does not help even the launch of IGTV, Instagram Live, DM, and some other features you've never used, but you're enjoying.

The good part is that Instagram includes a very elaborate system for personalizing notifications. So, after a few minutes of this process, you'll get to see on the phone's lock screen only the notifications that matter, those that come from friends or people you follow.

Realistically speaking, it does not help you to see at three in the morning that someone cat loving cats in Australia gave you like the impromptu picture you made with the Siamese block neighbor. Those less relevant hits will always be visible when you enter Instagram and click on the bottom right heart.

If you want to learn how to filter notifications on Instagram, the first thing you have to do is activate them if they are missing at the moment. To do so, go to Settings or Settings on the phone's main screen, Notifications, search Instagram, and activate notifications of the form you want.

Once you have checked the above operation, enter Instagram, make a tap on the bottom right and a second tap on the three top right arrows.

Once you've reached the settings, go to the Push Notifications section. Obviously, you can turn them off, but I will insist on those that I have left active and in what form.
