The Syrian army discovered a mass grave with 112 bodies in the newly liberated city of Duma, in the region of Guta Oriental, near the capital, Damascus, after touring the areas that were under the control of the terrorist group Yeish Al-Islam.

The general director of Syrian Forensic Doctors, Zaher Hajo, said Syrian soldiers found the bodies of 112 people, who were executed by terrorist groups sponsored by foreign states, according to local media, HispanTV said.

The victims were probably killed almost two weeks ago, during heavy fighting in what was then a bastion of armed groups. The corpses were transferred to a forensic department to undergo an identification process.

On April 12, the Syrian Army announced the release of Duma after the last terrorist groups and their families surrendered.
